We had took the fantastic KUSTTRAM down to BLANKENBERGE to visit this lovely seaside resort and as we were wandering around taking in some of the wonderful pub's,bar's ,restaurant's and site's we chanced on this superb local's pub.As it had just stopped raining we decided to sit outside were a very pleasant member of staff took our order of a JUPILER BEER each. This was brought over in no time at all and was served in perfect condition, iced cold ,sparkling and really refreshing. We just chilled out and took in this superb pub and great vibe. The pub itself is fantastic,a proper local's pub, great furnishing's and superbly decorated throughout,a real traditional Belgium pub. Before we moved on we had one more beer and opted for a bottle of DUVEL BEER,this is our favorite beer and was served in tip top condition, this beer we could just chill out with and plan were we were going to next. The service in here is spot on ,the pub was seriously busy but we never saw anyone wait long for a drink.Very easy to locate on LANGESTRAST .Great pub and well worth a visit.

If you're at Flanders' coast and want to relax, this is one of the places off the huge concrete concerns. Just hop off the coast tram at Blankenberge Markt, and there you are. I did not try their cuisine (I had just enjoyed a big serving of Belgian fries at Frituur Carlo next door), but this is a great beer café, with a huge menu of Belgian beers. I enjoyed my kriek, watching the trams go by, looking at the harbour and the people. Finishing touch were the sparrows coming to dine on the left overs. Just a very pastoral scene in the middle of a busy town.

The beach in Blankenberge is home to the only Pier in Belgium, and in fact the only one in western continental Europe. Belgium Pier, with its characteristic architecture, is completely surrounded by the sea and connected to the mainland by a 350m long pro
In my opinion there's little better than watching the sea roll in, with a delicious beer in hand. A wonderful location, quiet, clean, friendly staff. I think the pier is used for corporate events, but a bar is open for drinks and light meals. I absolutely love it here. Be sure to visit when in Blankenberge or indeed Belgium!

We went to eat lunch. The people taking the order were unfriendly and show their discontentment with what the client orders loudly. The other people bringing the orders are students and clearly more friendly. The food was extremely saucy. We thought first it was soup. The quality of the cooking is below level!Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with us.Hopefully we can convince you a second time with our high-quality products & and strong team.Kind Regards,Le Grand café team.
