I called with my daughter for a light lunch. I enjoyed my posh fish finger ciabatta, although I found the tartare sauce a little greasy and tasteless - more like mayo.My daughter liked her Garlic mush ciabatta and theakstons. Pleasant waitress and nice light seating area.

Moved to area a few years back and started to eat through their menu. However not been in for a couple of years. Last three visits Iâve arrived for a lunch and not even bothered to get a drink as the menu neither appealed nor the âwelcomeâ felt genuine. There was building work going on and the dining area was shut so it looks like only bar meals for now. Iâm afraid Iâve lost the will to return, which is no doubt my loss.

The Tindale Crossing Brewers Fayre is a great pub restaurant! We stayed at the adjacent Premier Inn for 3 nights and dined each evening in the Tindale Crossing. The staff are really friendly and helpful and gave us a very warm welcome. The food was good and excellent value. Midweek meals were 2 for £8.99 up till 6pm which was great for us, as we like to eat early. I even got a free meal and a free bottle of wine using my Brewers Fayre Bonus points! The great thing about this pub when we visited was that they let us choose our own table, which we loved, itâs always nice to be able to find a nice cosy corner! Dear GuestThank you so much for taking the time to leave us excellent feedback, we appreciate your comments and we hope you will be back to visit us soon. Many thanks,Peter ThompsonGeneral Manager

Accommodation excellent, staff great, food good (breakfast EXCELLENT}.Our only slight grumble was having to wait 50 minutes for dinner to arrive but because of friendliness of staff we accepted it without complaint as we weren't going anywhere afterwards. We used it as our base for seeing the fantastic Kynren show and exploring a few places in the region.Would definitely stay here again.

I went last night for a belated fathers day meal, I was a bit disappointed with the starter I chose as there was no peppercorn sauce available, so had to choose something different, however the steak salad was marvellous, and a very generous portion of chips that were very tasty.Unfortunately I have an allergy to dogs and cats an I think there must have been some in the pub at sometime, and all I did was sneeze that evening and the next day.The staff we helpful and polite and the car park was quite large, and full when we got there, always a good sign.I would recommend the food but unfortunately cannot return due to my allergy.Hi Philip,I am glad to hear you enjoyed the food and service that is always great to hear. I am sorry to hear your celebration was not all it could be due to your allergy, we do allow dogs in the bar area but not the restaurant. If you do want to return you can contact us before the day and we will endeavour to ensure you and your allergy are catered for.Kind Regards.

Family Run Pub and Restaurant since 1971.
Four of us ate here over Easter weekend. The menu is fairly varied and the selections we made were very nice. This is not fine dining but just honest pub grub. The staff were pleasant and it seemed to be a real locals place which is nice to see. I would visit again if I was in the area.Hello,Thanks. You are right, it is good old food, nothing flash, nothing miniscule but we hope to be serving good food at reasonable prices and again you're right. It is a local village pub that always welcomes visitors. We hope to see you again.regardsAl

You canât fail to enjoy the food here. Great choices on the menu, freshly cooked. The chips are amazing, the best Iâve had anywhere in a pub restaurant. Friendly service, always busy so book ahead. The car park was pretty full when we arrived and not being local didnât know where parking could be found if it was as the pub is situated on a busy main road. That said we arrived when it was dark so didnât spot alternatives that might be easily seen in the day.

Visited for the other halfs birthday on a Saturday night. Great service as always. Drinks served promptly. Plenty of time to peruse the menu. I had the fish cake starter which was huge, hot, tasty and filling. Then I went for chicken and king prawns in sweet chilli while the other half went for the mountainous sized mixed grill. Both were spot on. My main came with rice and chips when I'd asked for peas and chips but sides were happily changed within a few minutes and wasnt an issue. Couldn't manage a dessert and with a pint and a half of coke and a pint and a half of Guinness at less than £40 was stunning value.

Visited here after reading positive reviews, was not disappointed, what a little gem! Sunday lunch was amazing, fresh and beautifully cooked, and the price was just unbelievable. The pub is very quirky, definitely no frills but I liked it, loads of interesting things to look at. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, canât wait to go back. Please note, they donât accept payment by card here, itâs cash only, donât get caught out.
