The Rootz is a bar and Traditional Italian Osteria, wine and cocktail bar and free library, situated in one of the most beautiful street in the centre of Valletta. The Rootz is a place where you can drink really good wines, digestives, Italian Grappa, and
This is an odd and delightful place. There is a Moroccan vibe. Reservations are a must. Itâs cash only. Itâs a small plate/shared plate model. Food is locally sourced. There were six of us and we crowded the small interior. Alissa provided excellent service and guided us through the menu making appreciated suggestions. Adding to the pleasure was the presence of a talented piano player. We were charmed, well fed and well cared for. We tried it all.....multiple bruschetta, (the Louis was a favorite) flat breads, which resemble fresh folded tortillas stuffed with cheese, meat and arugula and a giant sliced meat cured meat and cheese platter. Each order was well explained by Alissa, which prevented surprises and built anticipation. Local beer and wines were enjoyed with the food. This is a great place for relaxing and enjoying the non typical menu.

Gin & Tapas Bar The first Gin bar in Malta, the only place where you can find more than 200 Gins and 42 tonic waters!! More than 40 different kind of Tapas !
For me things don't get much better than this. Beautiful gins, available both in some lovely cocktails and in a "standard" G&T...though with over 200 gins and dozens of tonics to chose from, standard is not a word that comes to mind.We had some tapas alongside our drinks, just delicious each and every one. Whether you're a seasoned gin lover or a novice to this particular spirit, these guys will make you happy!

After just shy of 22 colorful years in our original establishments in Sliema, we bring you our next project, Tex Mex South!
Being from the North, my boyfriend and I were always keen on visiting Tex Mex South. When we entered the establishment, we were welcomed by a super stylish interior, a lot of flat screen TVs, cosy armchairs and sofas, a very lovely decorated bar, and all the little details which gave the place a very positive vibe to it: from the amazing leather menus to the personalised wet wipes. We shared a pizzotto starter, I had the BBQ ribs and my boyfriend had the cider apple and honey ribs for mains, three cocktails and a mud pie for dessert. The pizzotto was divine! Served on a wooden chopping board, it had a Twisted shape and was served hot with oozing mozzarella, garlic butter and rucola. It went down very nicely and we were very surprised with its amazing taste. The ribs came and were generous in portion. My rack was amazing, coated with delicious sticky BBQ sauce and oh my God those sweet potato fries are to die for!! My boyfriend's ribs were a tad underdone, and the sauce tasted alot like apple puree which was a bit much, even though I took some of his and I enjoyed them, even though mine were admittedly better cooked and fell off the bone. The mud pie was presented very nicely. It was a mixture of ice cream and cookie layer, with crushed oreo cookie crumbs on top and bottom, nutella drizziled at the base and some nice cone pieces on top. My boyfriend and I both loved it! It was a very unique and different dessert which is definitely worth a try! Cocktails were numerous in choice and very pleasant tooService was amazing, staff made sure everything was up to standard. We were offered complimentary liquor at the end. Price came up to 80 euro total which is fair considering portion sizes and quality of foodA definite must!! Will be back to try one of their signature burgers!!

Raj is the best! He is simply outstanding as he made us feel at home right away and his service is impeccable. Great memorabilia, good music and atmosphere, excellent food and all the staff was outstanding, especially Raj!One of the best hard rock cafe restaurants that we visited!Very recommended, being it for a meal with family/friends/partner or to celebrate an occasion. Even though ours was a meal for two, the restaurant seems to also cater for large groups and special occasions. If you haven't been to this restaurant, make sure that you visit! Thanks for the AWESOME response, Magiusmt!!!

Saw the "snack bar" as we drove between Marsaslokk and the airport and with a 90 year old in tow - the words snack bar and take-away appeared like a dream! Especially when she has a limitedd range of what she can eat... We were not disappointed (that is to say any of us!). Run by a British/Maltese team, the food easily competes with the best (tourist) restaurants in Malta - menu is varied from toasties and large sandwiches for under â¬2 to meals for under â¬5 they even do Pizza and Pasta nights. If you want a snack or something more substantial we would hartily recommend it PLUS they have the most lovely children who assist - a real family concern that should be well patronised!

A Restaurant with a cheerful ambience, and the waiters always help you out on the menu. The food is genuine and the service is second to none. The portions were also generous, and the steak is juicy and prepared perfectly. The Pasta as well is al dente as it should be. Pizza is another strong link of this dining experience. Worth all the money paid and never let down after 9 visits. The reason why it scores high in this review, is because a constant excellent food and service throughout the meals I have eaten in this restaurant. A visit is a must if you are in Marsascala area and you are hungry enough to eat a decent sized tasty meal. Highly Recommended

4 of us visited and first found it strange as it was empty but even so ordered 4 burgers, 2 feta burgers , 1 smoked bacon burger and a mad hatter special ......chips were fine on all and so was coleslaw..... all burgers were really undercooked and only just warm , the bacon on both burgers was just great big pieces of fat and was raw not even shown a flame , the 2 feta burgers were just a burger with a piece of huge cold feta stuck on it , apparently new management but itâs going to struggle if this is the standard , sorry but canât believe the positive reviews , this was terrible sorry

Steaks, Burgers, British dishes, Fish, curries,
This place has excellent English food specializing in roasts, yorkshire pudding and also offers various types of English culinary recipes including desserts. The place also offers Indian food and also is cooked fresh.Unfortunately however, this place runs with skeleton staff (at least at the moment) and service takes long. I think the place needs more kitchen staff and at least an extra waiter due to the extended menu that it offers.

First time here and was impressed since place was jam packed.Quite modern and cool.We had 2 vintage burgers, they were excellent. Kids had chicken nuggets and spaghetti carbonara. Honestly had better carbonaras. On the day service was extremely slow but as I said place was jam packed...Would still love to return maybe when place is a bit quieter...
