In an age when it is horrible to criticize anything for Vets, we have to say we would not want to eat here because of the grubby factor. However, to be totally fair, everyone else we talk to has gone there and loved their burgers and steaks, so maybe we will try it soon. We went in to check it out and left before eating. Not too neighborly of us, so we will try eating there before we say anything more.

My family discovered this place last year and we had a wonderful experience. We were very excited to return. Unfortunately, todayâs meal was a disaster. It took 1 hour and 20 minutes to be served. We purposely arrived at opening to beat the crowds and there were only 2 other small groups when we arrived. We had to ask twice for ordered drinks. The food was so over cooked that it was inedible. The server never returned to check on us. This was so disappointing that I am inspired to write this review while we are still sitting here waiting and waiting and waiting for her to return with our bill.

An excellent stop for lunch whilst driving around Flathead Lake. Great service, good food and views over the lake that will simply take your breath away. Ideal for families, couples or the lone traveller. The Barman visited from another state and decided he wanted to move and work there! That literally explains it all.

I've always had great food here and love the place. The locals understand how it operates, this is Bigfork. The wheels spin slower here. It's not a table service restaurant and its cash only. If you enjoy experiencing small town Montana, you'll get that experience here. You order food at a window. You may have to find the bartender. It's usually a 2 person operation. While kids are always welcome, probably not a good idea in the evening, it's a bar. Just understand that this is not a chain bar or 5 star restaurant and you will get a true local experience. Don't be in a hurry and you'll get good food. Like I said, I love the place and we come here at least once a week. I'm sure you'll like the place to, just accept it for what it is.

Old Bridge is a craft beer house with a gourmet pub menu open in the heart of the village of Bigfork, MT. We proudly make all our items fresh with care and love and serve 18 craft beers on tap, most from Montana breweries. East Coast style homemade pizza,
Happened upon this place by chance and it was a great find. The 3 different subs ordered were amazing as was the chicken Thai salad and the grandson says the burger was the best heâd ever eaten. Great food, reasonably priced.

Family, friends and great food are the magic combination for making memories and what better place to do that than at Riley's! Come visit us for dinner, drinks or dessert. Riley's is located at the top of Woods Bay, overlooking Flathead Lake.
With a spectacular view of Flathead Lake and outdoor seating with excellent service and delectable quick food- what the hek more could you ask for! :) It was awesome. My friends each had a different type of burger- Kobe beef- fantastic-all of them! I had the white sauce, garlic w chicken & basil pizza-magnificent and great crust! We all loved this place. The service was impeccable. The environment and décor beautiful/unbeatable! Also, a nice thing about here is you can get a drink, not just beer and wine. And the drinks were wonderful! We had a Montana Mule made with huckleberry vodka that was just scrumptious! This is a gem in hiding folks! Find your way to this great place. The adjoining restaurant looked wonderful too and I heard their brunch is to die for but they weren't open Labor Day.

My daughter and I visited this on a Friday night and sat outside for an amazing prime rib dinner. The cut was nice and tender and went well with a Stags Leap Cabernet. Our server was fantastic and we had a great dinner.

As a local to Bigfork, I'm sad to say the last 2 times we have had dinner here, my go to favorite dish at Grille 459 has been just awful. I use to always love their Chicken Picatta and would order it breaded (the other option is grilled, no idea why they don't just do the chicken like normal dusted in flour and browned in olive oil). Last night the chicken was so over cooked, it was like cutting through dried out jerky. The breading was cooked to the right color of golden brown, but it did not stick to the chicken...which when removed revealed the browned, dry and tough over cooked meat. I have to believe they actually precook the chicken in advance, then when the order comes through the chicken is breaded and dropped into a fryer to not only cook the breading but reheat the chicken. I honestly don't recall if our server returned to ask our our meal was, but I was not comfortable with letting anyone know until the end of the meal when there was still 1/3 of the chicken (without breading) sitting on the plate. The other couple we had dinner with enjoyed their cod of the day and braised short ribs. My husband also told me his chicken was over cooked and too salty (I felt really bad for my husband since I always raved about the chicken picatta and he decided to switch from his normal go to the meat loaf)...I did not notice the saltiness part; I was too busy working up a sweat trying to cut the chicken. As I said, I told our server at the end of the meal the chicken was way over cooked and even pointed it out to her. She agreed it looked over cooked, thanked me (?) and said she would mention to the chef.....that was the last we heard? There was no apology or anything. Guess it's time to move on to another restaurant.

Ordered ribs with cherry sauce, coleslaw was warm, ribs were slightly warm, cherry sauce not as before, service poor. It was crowded, and seemed to be only one server so the rating I gave last time has been lowered. Sorry it turned out this way, because I was really looking forward to the ribs from a visit last summer
