My wife and celebrated our anniversary with friends sharing the same anniversary here at this restaurant. The service started out slow with a few errors on our order but our server was gracious and quick to correct things. I ordered the grilled white fish with two sides and I was pleased with the fish. The sides were average but nothing spectacular. The Reds were playing live on TV against the Cubs and everyone had a viewing angle as there are numerous TVs throughout. The location on the river is nice and makes for a fun gathering spot. Great atmosphere and decent prices.

Well executed menu, all around tasty options. Prices are a little high but I feel that I get what I pay for when you look at all the elements such as speed of service, quality of food and cleanliness of the establishment. All those combined make me feel better about spending $5 of a taco. Their sister restaurants Kruger’s and The Eagle are also great options right there if you’re looking for more of an American fare. This area gets busy so it’s good to have a backup option nearby.

Stopped for a quick beer and tour of the facility with a promise to ourselves to come back. Beer was outstanding especially (in my opinion) the porters. A huge walking tour group came in while we were there and that enlivened things considerably. The bar tenders were unflappable and everyone was served quickly and efficiently and settled in the enjoy the wide selection of delicious fresh brews. Next trip we will stay for food but we had too little time this trip! If you love history this is the place for you!

This place is the best restaurant I've ever ate at!! We ate there 2 days in a row. The chicken, mac and cheese, spoonbread, kale and sausage dip were absolutely amazing. They had a great beer selection and the atmosphere and service were perfect. I wish I lived closer so I could eat here regularly!

The Precinct

For Jeff Ruby, this is the steakhouse that started it all. In 1981 and in the midst of one of the worst economies in a generation, The Precinct was born in the former Cincinnati Police Patrol House Number 6. This turn-of-the-century, Romanesque-style stru

Once I saw that this was a "chain" restaurant, I should have known it wasn't going to be top of the line German fare. My first surprise was to find out they no longer serve red cabbage, which is a german staple and especially with schnitzel. My schnitzel was a tale of two cities, half of it was so thin it was like cardboard and the other half was too thick. The sides of potato salad and sauerkraut were just so-so.
