First established in 1917 as a summer resort destination, Bella Vista has evolved and redesigned itself over the succeeding years. Bella Vista became a retirement community in 1965, and, after much contention and a 2006 vote of its property owners, became an incorporated city. Following its official incorporation on January 1, 2007, the new city government took over the police department, fire department, streets, trash removal and other city functions, while the Property Owners Association (POA) retained control of the many amenities available to homeowners and their guests. Amenities include numerous parks, clubhouses with workout areas, swimming pools, seven golf courses, seven lakes with fishing and boat docks, a marina, swimming beach, putt putt golf courses and tennis courts, and extensive hiking and biking trails throughout its beautiful Ozark hills.

I would love to re-visit in the evening. We went just after dinner, so there weren't many people there. I ordered off the menu (they have a large cocktail menu), and my husband asked for a drink that has been a fail at about 75% of the time he has ordered it. I love the atmosphere. We each only had one drink and we were both pleased. The staff was great. I don't know what else I can say except that I would recommend for a place to have a drink in the area.

Had a lovely late lunch here. Friendliest service, nice room, the arugula salad and margarita pizza were delicious. Will definitely go again when in Bentonville.

We are originally from the Chicago area. We've been searching for a decent thin crust crispy pizza. We found it. (I know you New Yorkers don't like crispy) This is a wood fired pizza. It was very very good. Nice neighborhood bar environment. But you can also eat outside.

We approached the bar for late afternoon drinks and were met by a less than hospitable bartender who apparently was not interested in our business so we left.Hi Valerie. We apologize you had a bad experience at our restaurant. This is definitely not a level of service we find acceptable. We will make every effort to ensure this doesn't happen again. Went with a group. We all waited over an hour to get our food. When it arrived, it was cold and missing ingredients. Worst lunch experience of all time.

I eat at the BV Bar & Grill fairly often since I live nearby. For lunch, I almost always get the Pick 2 (for $7) or Pick 3 (for $10). It consists of choices of soup, salad, and half sandwich. The soups are variable, so you need to ask the server. The soups vary in quality, but the salad and sandwich choices are always good. I particularly like the Caesar Kale salad which is never over-saturated with salad dressing as it is in many restaurants. Both the green tomato BLT and the turkey with cheese and apple chutney are particularly good. They donât skimp on meat or bacon and everything is fresh cooked and prepared. Itâs a bargain at $7!

Food good. Service excellent. Prices reasonable to high for what us provided. HoweverââIt is a cold winter day outside with cool inside but the dress code requires female servers to wear skimpy short shorts. The male bar tender may wear jeans. Hence this is not only exploitation nearing abuse but also discrimination. My wife and I just had our last visit to JJs.
