Reviews on Bar food in Beirut, Lebanon. Often called "Paris of the Middle East", Beirut is a thriving hotspot for shopping, socializing and sightseeing, despite many wars and unrest. The city has been rebuilt several times, with modern architecture sharing space with Ottoman and colonial French buildings. Bustling streets such as Hamra and Ashrafieh provide hopping nightlife while the National Museum and the Gibran Museum give visitors a taste of the city's history. The Corniche is the place for activities like jogging and biking.

Open kitchen, mixology cocktail bar and coffee shop. All dishes and drinks are homemade from scratch in our kitchen open for you to watch us prepare your healthy, and fresh food. The East Village Team is driven by passion and dedicated to make your lunch
I was delighted to have dinner at this restaurant when the owner chef Chris Karam was present on that night at the restaurant. He recommended to take the east village steak since we like the meat medium rare and it was a marvelous experience. The steak was very tasty, juicy enough, the sauce with herbs and butter was very good. We had as accompagnement the mushrooms which were perfect with the steak and also the not to miss truffled fries with parmigiano. All of this was accompanied with a bottle of pino grigio white wine. The staff was very welcoming and very friendly and generously offered us the chocolate cake with its ice cream as a dessert. It was just perfect to finish the meal with this very tasty cake. Thank you east village and thank you chef Chris Karam for this opportunity in Beirut. East village: a must do !

A lovely spot in Hamra that I can wholeheartedly recommend - superb atmosphere and decoration, attentive and competent staff, and nice food with a satisfying selection for vegetarians. There are also dance events, and ladies night on a Thursday (40% off cocktails!). You can tell this is an authentic place for locals, and itâs easy to see why - if this was near me back home Iâd be a regular. Fabulous.

Reservations are highly recommended. We dined in the garden which had some large spacious seating and more intimate spots among the shrubs and plants. The service was attentive and informative regarding dishes and specials. We enjoyed the tuna tartare, beef tartare, variety of mains and cheesecake dessert. Overall a positive experience and well worth seeking out. The entrance is off a small side street and a small walk to the building past the garden dining area. The attire was a mix of moderately formal to relaxed casual. As we were on holiday we were business casual and out teenage sons were fully casual. There is smoking allowed in the garden area but they do have fans.Dear Mr. Jeff,It gives us so much joy knowing that you had a wonderful dining experience in our garden. Your detailed feedback and appraisal of the food items, service and architecture are very much appreciated. Providing our customers with a fine dining experience is our priority. Hope to see you again soon.Best regards,Centrale's management
