This bar is part of the Kerry hotel and it good for all patrons staying there.During my stay there was some cheesy Chinese entertainment of dancing girls for a small time and then another band moved on it.Suited to all ages but you have to work hard for a drink. The premises is modern with different bar seating arrangements.Each night of the week there is various forms of music entertainment here from a 5 band piece to two blokes playing music. It was our last afternoon in Beijing so we thought we would cap off a great week by having a drink at the bar before heading to the airport.We arrived and were greeted instantly which was good. After that it all went downhill. Once we mentioned we only wanted a few beers not the outrageously expressive afternoon tea package we were led to a table with a partial view whilst other tables were reserved ( and remained empty for the hour we were there) waiting for the elusive afternoon team package buyers....if the place was packed I could understand but it remained a quarter filled the entire time. We moved at one stage to a window side table and were asked to move back to our original table like naughty school kids. We had 3 crazy priced beers each so probably spent $60usd . The beers warm despite asking for cold as possible.Nothing to be sneezed at. What made it frustrating was that someone did occupy the table we sat at . They ordered a pot of tea and two iced waters and paid $10usd. Anyhow the view good. The service poor. Would not rush back.

We stopped in this hotel just so we could see another hotel in Beijing (my degree is in hotel and restaurant management, so restaurants, hotels, bars, etc. are a must see on my list even though I am retired now). The lobby has these really HUGE pots. Different.We had a glass of wine and a beer in the lobby lounge, and they provided a little snack to eat with your drinks. Service was a little slow, but we were not in a hurry, so no big deal.We tried to go to the 5th floor bar, but we guess it is only open at night (as we were there during the day). Doors closed, lights off.

Met my buddy here after work in the Beijing Guomao area. Cool place to chill for happy hour. Good nachos, burgers, and even has vegetarian options. Our waitress Anna was super helpful and had a great smile. Service was awesome.
