O'Connor's Public House in Mount Kisco - the best authentic Irish bar in town. Family run by the O'Connor brothers, with a sister pub in Blarney, Co. Cork, walking through the door will make you feel like you've stepped into the kind of neighborhood bar y
After being here 5 months ago and being sorely disappointed, today I gave them another chance. O'Connors has redeemed itself!!! Went for lunch today!!! I had the Ruben, Rusty the Grilled Steak Sandwich. Both sandwiches were delicious. Staff and owner frequently checked on us...to make sure we were satisfied. I can now honestly give them !!!

The Blazer Pub takes its name from a term coined in western Ireland in the late 1800s by a group of enthusiastic foxhunters and their hounds. After a day's work, these hunters would gather in a temporary hut or shack to celebrate their hard-earned bounty.
Moved from southern Westchester to Somers a year ago and began looking for a great burger as Pipers Kilt in Eastchester had us spoiled. Locals up here raved about The Blazer Pib so we decided to check it out for lunch. It was a lively spot.I ordered medium rare cheeseburger with Swiss and grilled onions and he ordered medium Blazer burger which is served on a hard roll..and we shared a small fries. Small fries is large enough for two with extras to spare. First observation is they should use plates a little bit larger as it was difficult to navigate the food on such small plates. As I begin to eat my medium rare burger from the edge it seemed cooked all right although it was smothered with onions too large for the bun which disintegrated in my hands. A bun should do a burger justice and not have to be special ordered. As I continued eating the burger I realized it was not warm and bright red Andit was raw in the center. So I cut the burger in half to investigate. As I was unable to get anyoneâs attention I got up to find our server. She took the burger which was now cut in half due to my investigation back to the grill and rather than giving me a freshly cooked burger they re-cooked a half a burger and a quarter of the other half a burger put it on a fresh roll which was them served with cold not melted Swiss cheese. To me that was a poor remediation for a burger improperly cooked. When I told this to my locals they were surprised that it was handled so poorly. Also server never came to refil my water glass leaving me with ice to suck. That was not all that sucked. We are still on our search for a good burger in Northern Westchester.
Best new restaurant in Mt Kisco. We tried fried calamari, pizza, chestnut bruschetta, shaved cauliflower, and bufula mozzarella, all was delicious. The pastas where amazing, fusselli with sausage, and seafood linguini. The wood fired branzino was cooked to perfection. Not only is the food great, I loved the atmosphere, nice bar with good drinks. A must try when in my. Kisco.

Visited this beautiful, classy establishment the other night with a couple of friends from work. We shared a wonderful bottle of Malbec and split some munchies.. we indulged in the Brussels sprouts and Chick pea bites. Both were amazing and so delicious. I'm sorry I can't remember the hostess name but she was lovely, friendly and efficient. The owner came over to make sure we were enjoying ourselves...he was very friendly and so sociable! I only live 3 miles from Pour and I'm wondering what took me so long to visit...can't wait to return!

We visited this restaurant after reading a wonderful review in Westchester Magazine. They must have been there on a GREAT night. We arrived and one hostess greeted us and then walked away. Another young woman came over and then brought us to our table. Eric was our waiter----he was wonderful however everyone around him was of NO support. We ordered the steamers with the bread on the side due to a gluten allergy. First order---great except a quarter of the shells were empty and no bread appeared. We order another---this comes with the bread in the dish. So another comes which the young woman tries very unsuccessfully to deliver to the wrong table--again she didn't understand what the customer was saying! The additional wait staff have limited understanding and would try to clear your plates before you were done....then it was on the customer to try to explain, no not finished there is still food on the plate. Onto the entrees. Each of us ordered something different. I ordered the fusilli with chicken which had ziti and spaghetti in it! My daughter ordered the duck which was good. Her boyfriend ordered the tavern burger which proceeded to come out completely plain. All the toppings were missing. Eric brought it back and returned with another burger saying the kitchen gave him the wrong one. When we were waiting on the check--almost 9:00 the music came on and the air conditioning in addition to during our dinner one of the waitstaff decided to light all the candles while people were eating. Hoping we caught them on a truly bad night....we went over to Bedford for dessert. Wishing them well....but we won't be back.

By the sheer math underlying rankings one of the thousands of dining experiences has to be the bottom. A full 3-hour investment for under-cooked sub-mediocre hamburgers and fries and meager appetizers may just be it. The 35 minute mark brought seating in their messy dining room which resembles a mid-90's rec room. The hour fifteen mark brought about 8 soggy, fried, pickle slices and a handful of probably Totisto's chips. Another full hour fifteen later brought somewhat astonishing lukewarm under-cooked dense burgers and fries seemingly straight from Costco which appeared only after a walkout threat. To reiterate, 75 minutes of prep time and the food was somehow not hot(?). To be fair, getting diners out as quickly as possible did seem to be a priority for the busing staff who asked repeatedly if the group was done with their half-eaten burgers a few minutes after they appeared (uh...no). Miserly management offered a 20% discount for the train-wreck which was about 30 points too low. A 10% tip was included by Thewestchestarian as a misguided act of mercy, the server would be better served quitting and working someplace more promising. In short, management needs to be fired and should be ashamed of itself.

Welcome to Muscoot Tavern! We've been a hidden gem, tucked away along the corner of Route 100 and 35 since the roaring 20's. What you'll find here is a casual and friendly atmosphere for guests of all ages. Home of a great selection of pizza, pastas, dail
Tables are a little close together but given size of restaurant it has to be. Chicken kabob was excellent bronzano fish was ok but sauce which was supposed be a caper lemon wine sauce was a little light on capers. Server was friendly and attentive. Prices are moderate but parking is an adventureThank you for giving our chicken kabob and bronzano fish a try. Our apologies if our caper lemon wine sauce was not exactly what you were expecting. We'd love to have another opportunity to impress you, Bobby, Owner

Three families got together for a nice dinner on a Sunday night. My sisterâs family was in from out of town. All told we had 3 sets of parents and 6 children. The children ranged from middle school age to early twenties. We had made a reservation and everything was read when we arrived. The place looked very nice and festive. Our table was right in front of their Christmas tree in the main dining room. They have a bar section on the other side. Several of us had been there before and spoke highly of the place. The experience for everyone did not disappoint. The grilled cheese with ribs was a popular choice for our party. Myself, I went with the tuna. It was just fantastic. Cooked to perfection and very flavorful. We ended up there for a couple hours and everyone had a great time. We definitely chose the right place for this get together. We skipped desert and coffee on this visit so I canât comment on that, this time around.
