Jerome and Remy are amazing guys, this bar is just out of town but a must visit. The atmosphere and vibes are incredible. The prices are moderate, the food is good but come for the crowd and ambience

Went here last night on strength of other reviews expecting something special. What a huge letdown! Restaurant looks tired. Owner Patrice breezed in briefly but was not seen again. Waited 1 hour for our meal. Pork loin with Three Different Sauces consisted a few overcooked pieces of pork and three little glasses of pale cream stuff all tasting the same, plus a few strands of raw cabbage. Khmer Mystery dessert was best part of meal. The food of fellow diners also seemed nothing like the 'superb cuisine' we'd read about. Suggest you give it a miss!

I asked for a gin and tonic. Got a huge glass full of ice water and a can of tonic. I could not taste any gin. It was pointless complaining because the girl was on the phone and didn't understand me anyway or wasn't interested in trying to solve the problem. The charge was $4. Most other places around charge between $1.75 to $3.00 for a decent drink.

It was a sad day for Cambodia when the Riverside Balcony closed its doors at the end of October. It has been the outstanding venue in Battambang - and, I would have said, in the entire country - for the past two years.I hope we might see someone step forward to relaunch it one day - but, sadly, there's no sign of that being likely at the moment.Many thanks to Frankie and Frazer (and Sam the Pizza Man downstairs) for giving us two really great years there. At least Sam is staying in town, so hopefully he and his tasty food will resurface somewhere else before too long.The Balcony has recently reopened since 25th of june 2018. We will be happy to meet you in our renovated bar. You can have a cocktail or grab a beer, have some snack if you are a bit hungry, play pool on a new pool table, and even dance on the wood flloor til late, especially on friday and saturday night. Best regards.

Nice rooftop bar if you are a backpacker wanting to meet other travellers. Food is okay and drinks the same. The staff is friendly. The hostel on the other hand is really nice. The rooms are relatively spacious and the sanitary equipement is clean and well equipped. Each room has is a/c.
