Find out what Bar restaurants to try in Bath. Known for its restorative wonders, Bath was once the home of Jane Austen. Sure, you could attempt to conjure up this elegant city by reading Pride and Prejudice in your tub, but as Bath has a lot more history than your bathroom (we assume, anyway) you'd be missing out. A stroll through Bath is like visiting an open-air museum, with roughly 5,000 buildings in the city drawing notice for their architectural merit. After your stroll, soak in the natural hot waters of the Thermae Bath Spa, once a favorite of the Celts and Romans.

As a family we have eaten many times at the gpt, and the roast dinner is amazing. We booked for midday as we were a table of 12..and we were not disappointed!! Portion size, brilliant. Staff were amazing and very friendly. My wife loved the gravy that much that she bought some and is now in the freezer awaiting our next roast at home. The burgers are delicious as well.Highly recommended.

We waited a long time for our order and when it arrived the wrap was burnt. The waitress said she had "mentioned it to the chef" - any chef would not have served burnt food. £2 taken off the bill for one drink.Hello Julie, We are sorry to hear you had such an unpleasant experience with us. We would love to invite you in for a free lunch/dinner on us as an away of an apology (main and a drink), if you would like to come in please contact the sales team on [email protected] and they will be able to help you. We have also passed this feedback onto the kitchen and our Front of House staff and reiterated the importance of ensuring all food meets our high standards.
