We visited on a Saturday night without booking and were pleased that there was a table available. There are separate restaurant, bar and outside seating areas and it looks like the pub has been refurbished very recently. The menu is varied: pizzas, steaks, salads, fish, pub grub meals - something to suit everyone. The food is very well presented and we were both defeated by our pizzas. Very generous toppings and reasonably priced at about £10 each. The black pudding pizza is unusual and delicious! To sum up, nice ambience in a country pub location, polite and attentive staff, fabulous food and well priced. Cannot be faulted and we would definitely visit again.

Welcome to Lush, a newly refurbished bar and restaurant designed to offer a lovely homely warm welcoming and dare we say a trendy place to be. Whether itâs a family meal in the nicely lit restaurant, a lunch snack with a work colleague or a few cocktails
As a couple visiting The area of the Bank Holiday weekend, we booked this restaurant as not many others open on a Sunday! We ordered the Roast on a Sunday evening and was not disappointed. Massive plate of food turned up along with several side dishes of veg.Had a cheeky espresso martini at the end which was lovely.Nice atmosphere.Would return next time In Barnstable

The bank is a great conversion - the managers office in particular is a great place to eat. Food was all good but the mac & cheese is about the best Iâve ever tasted. Go on; forget the burger just for tonight, embrace your inner-child and try the mac & cheese!Thank you for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review of your recent experience with us here at 62 The Bank. We hope to welcome you back to the Bank very soon! Many thanks,Josh

We are a currently a bar only pub. With our kitchen unfortunately closed please keep an eye on our website and facebook page for any updates
Stopped off for an impromptu Sunday lunch and very pleased we did. It was busy with lots of table pre-booked, but we had a seat in the bar and enjoyed a very tasty meal. Homemade leeks, broccoli and cauliflower in a rich cheese sauce, red cabbage, green beans and roasted parsnips/carrots, loads of roasties, generous slices of beef and homemade Yorkshire. Definitely worth a visit, especially as they served roast lunch 12-6 on a Sunday for those who have had a big brunch and want to eat big a little later later!

Probably about 20 years since I last visited this pub and it's been transformed. The pub is characterful and cosy and our party of four were made very welcome. There is an extensive and tempting menu but we stuck with just main courses. Everyone was pleased with their choices - mussels, chicken curry, steak pie and for me the maple glazed pork tenderloin served with beautiful ham hock croquettes. It most certainly deserves its reputation for pub food way above the average.

This is a great little pub with a terrific restaurant. It was a welcome relief on our travels to get away from the usual chips and peas based meals. There was an extensive, varied and innovative menu with entrees, mains and desserts.Everything sounded amazing so it was hard to choose. It was contemporary cuisine, but still hearty food. Its definitely the best pub food we have had in our 3 weeks of travel. Highly recommend The New Inn.

Booked a table here for Sunday lunch with family and our five dogs.Accessed by a narrow road but plenty of parking and road not that busy. Worth the journey.Met and shown to our table. Staff nice and friendly, place lovely and clean.Food, I ordered the pork bits in chilli and ginger as my starter. The best starter I have had in many a year. Tempura prawns was the other starter ordered and was just as good, not that either of us shared much with the others. The main meals where good too, clean plates for everyone. My wife chose the sticky toffee pudding. I was allowed a spoonful and that too was really nice.Lovely restaurant, beautiful food and with good service. Will certainly return, even if it is just for the pork bits.Thank you all.Thank you so much for your wonderful 5* review, we are so delighted you enjoyed your Sunday lunch with us. We look forward to seeing you again soon for the pork bites & perhaps your own portion of sticky toffee pudding!! Best wishes Susan
