Took the Mrs and Parents for a meal here over Christmas. After 5 weeks at home and eating out most nights, this was easily one if not the best meal of the trip.Between us all we had, hake, salmon, chowder, goat cheese salad.etc Salmon tasted amazing, very wild tasting.Even the hake was excellent which Iâve never had much luck with in the past, always a bland tasting fish.Looking forward to the summer visit now, so can sit outside n enjoy the surroundings.Pretty good Guinness too.Certain non Irish members of staff could use a little Donegal friendliness

Lovely staff, helpful and courteous. Had the chicken burger & chips. When everything should be piping hot, it was only WARM. Despite this, I eat everything, but it was not very pleasing. I felt the chips had been lying around, maybe even re heated already! Needed a lot of salt . . . .

How does one start to describe one of the worst meals they've ever had in a public setting? With four days left out of a three week trip to Ireland, marked with wonderful food in stunning settings, we made the trip altering decision to stop at the not so "Jolly Farmer" for an early dinner. The lack of diners and the myriad idling "workers" should have been red flags, but we were tired and hungry. The food was dry and tasteless, but it sure packed a punch. Within a couple of hours, my wife was sicker than I've ever seen her, suffering from the revenge of the salmon! Add the insult of having to pay in cash (do I sense a potential tax dodge?), and you've got the trifecta of dining experiences.I'll eat sand before I ever set foot in there again. Save your own life!

We enjoyed a nice evening meal in the Creevy Pier Hotel, the food was very good, we had envisioned a nice relaxed meal and that's exactly what we got. The staff were polite and helpful although they were very busy and rushed. More staff would definitely be a plus...

The Gaslight Inn with fully Licensed Restaurant and B&B sit's on the cliff face overlooking Donegal Bay, The Blue Stack Mountains and the blue flag beach of Rossnowlagh. At The Gaslight we offer superb food and hospitality in true Irish tradition.
Spent a couple days at the gaslight with my family. Anthony and Pauline were friendly and helpful whenever we drummed up some questions. The beds were comfy, the breakfast was more than enough especially if you had the full Irish plate. The location has a wonderful view of Rossnowlagh Beach. There is a short country road away from the beach that is a nice little walk in the countryside. We had a great experience at the Gaslight.

We stopped here en route south to Galway having had a fantastic morning visit to the Giants causeway to mark the start of our holiday. Tired and hungry after our journey this was a perfect pick me up. Tasty food, service great, kids menu - just the ticket.!
