Authentic & Modern Mex, Spicy Margaritas & Dangerously Good Times for all occasions all year around.
Came here after reading some online reviews and we loved Mexican food. Had the queso fundido for an app and then we split two street tacos and a side of Brussel sprouts. The queso was very good, tricky to eat for sure but it was excellent. We ate the tortillas that it came with but we also dipped the tortilla chips that they bring to the table and that was also tasty. The side of shaved brussel sprouts has Parmesan, candied jalapeños, and something else. They werenât very were very good. For tacos we had one carne asada and one Korean BBQ carne asada. The meat was so good and both tacos were great. Our server was a cool guy and we were in and out in 45-min. I would definitely come to try something else out on the menu.

Emily server was super friendly and efficient. Ate lunch last day in Aspen before flight home on recommendation of our resort driver. Location downstairs off the beaten path. Sandwiches good decent variety, pricey but typical for aspen. Less expensive than some. Bathroom clean and well maintained. Likely will visit next trip

This is by far the best venue for live music in Aspen. The shows are typically better than average and the bar is large and easy to get drinks.

We were able to snag a table outside with only a short wait which was appreciated since we had a dog. Service was good as were the different beers our group of five tried. We enjoyed the hamburger, cobb salad and cubana.

Say "apres ski" and most people picture something strikingly similar to Ajax Tavern - glamorous yet easy. Its sun-drenched, mountainside patio can be seen from halfway up the mountain - a simple target for lunch or cocktails. Arrive, and let the people-wa

Original building and bar from 1892 in the heart of Aspen on the mall.
The Red Onion is actually an historic institution, going way back to the mining days. It has had numerous owners and incarnations. We stopped by to grab a long-overdue mid-afternoon meal, having missed lunch due to travel. We were pleasantly surprised by the down-to-earth but high-quality meals. Incidentally, we shared dishes because the portions were so big. I'd recommend it if you don't want an ultra-chic Aspen dig.

Since 1997, Jimmy's has been Aspen's neighborhood restaurant and bar, the kind of comfortable restaurant where you can dine again and again. Ask any local, and you will hear that Jimmy's is an "Aspen Institution." The menu has something for everyone, from
Service fell short forgetting peppercorn sauce and served a well done filet, when asked for medium Rare. Jimmy walked over to check on our table and took care of the meal that was incomplete. Nice move. However, the server was too busy for us which felt very off putting,Hello, I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your experience with us. We strive every day for the best hospitality and quality food so we are also disappointed that we did not live up to your expectations. At times, things beyond our control affect our ability to have a fully staffed restaurant although we do our best to manage it. I hope you will consider visiting us again to see that your service was not typical of how we do business. Thanks, Jessica Lischka General Manager

A very popular restaurant - each time we walked passed this last week it was always busy. We walked in for Sunday brunch and managed to get a table straight away. Known for their meat and cheese and charcuterie platters but offering other menu options. We started off with the Kale Citrus Lifter âgreen juiceâ and the Aspen Mountain Red juice, followed by the delicious home made soups - the Thai Coconut Chicken soup (full of flavour) and the special Chicken with Black Rice - thankfully we opted for the cups vs bowls - the cups were huge! Delicious healthy salads and the special tacos were also a hearty portion. They have a retail section with delicious goodies. We shall visit again on our return in November.

During our first trip to Aspen, and our first stop in town we learned very quickly that October is "shoulder season" and many establishments are closed until the winter season starts up. However The White House Tavern was open and doing a booming business. We were lucky to get seats at the bar. The service was excellent and the meals at the bar were very tasty and came quickly. The $150 lunch bill for 4 of us was a bit of a shocker, but was correct upon several viewings. We come to find that this was not unusual in Aspen in October. I would recommend this restaurant as it has a great decor, excellent service and very tasty food.
