Chose this restaurantabove other in the locale. Complacency would best sum up the experience. Wrong drink delivered to the table - had to goto the bar to get my original choice as staff appeared to be too busy. Meal was very good except for the side dishes which were very lukewarm. Took a while to catch the attention of a staff member and have them exchanged. That said, the steak was cooked perfectly. I'd go again if the situation presented itself.

Havenât been her for a while defiantly not be coming back ,came today with friends for Tuesday special we ordered our meals at 12.10 took at least 20 mins for starters to turn up another 40 minutes for main course my friends had beef dinners I had tomato and basil pasta with garlic bread, when my lunch came out looked like a childâs portion the plate and dish was red hot the pasta was warm and garlic bread was just soft with butter on I sent it back out it comes again plate and dish red hot again pasta had been put in microwave as you could tell was all dried up and garlic had just been put under grill it went back again I was given my money back, I ended up going to Asda and getting a BLT, at no point where we told there was a waiting time for lunches, there was also a young lady waiting for her lunch she got very distressed her lunch hadnât turned up she was given her money back to.When a special lunch is advertised surely you should have enough staff in your kitchen to cope and explain the waiting time

The cocktail masterclass was so much fun and such good value for money. We got lots of booze included and played games. Matt was brilliant. He went above and beyond to make sure that we all enjoyed ourselves and had great banter. He needs a pay rise!!! Thank you to the whole team :) I would definitely recommend. Ps. Some confusion with the Groupon voucher meant we ordered 2 courses but still had to pay for our desserts as the Groupon was for starter and main only, not main and dessert. Disappointing as we told the waitress when we arrived that we had the 2 course Groupon and ordered our food and nothing was said until our bill arrived. We didn't have the starters that were included but still charged for the desserts. The food wasn't great, the burger tasted gristly. Ice cream sundaes were very basic. Quite disappointed after reading the great reviews and won't return.We are sorry you were disappointed. Unfortunately it states on the terms and conditions on the Groupon site and also on the voucher what is included in the deal and that it can not be exchanged for anything else without a surcharge being paid. We are sorry you didn't enjoy the food and hope you reconsider about trying us again

Been coming here on and off since I was little! Looks stunning after the refurb. Nice and quiet Saturday morning breakie! Staff lovely and helpful, food and drinks came out quick, my partner had the steak and eggs - the steak (medium/rare) cooked perfectly! Eggs Benedict was gorgeous too! Another lovely visit to this place. Might be the best Sunday lunch in town - and brilliant for me as a vegetarian. Great front of house hostess and service. And good quality freshly cooked food. Tempted by the introductory offer my friends and I thought we would try the afternoon tea unfortunately it didn't match up to our expectations and we left feeling extremly disapointented. Sandiches were okay but not exciting. The sconess were already dressed with jam and cream and were that big had been cut in half. I thought the idea of afternoon tea was for the customer to add their own jam and cream according to taste. The cakes were also disappointing. If I didn't know better I could buy the same cakes from Sainsburys.Sorry guys I suggest you stick to what you know as I will not be returning.
