Family run bar/restaurant in Aracena since 1986. Traditional cuisine with innovative touches by Loli Alcaide. She has dedicated her whole life to cooking and her family. Also she is written 2 cook books. Homely, friendly and welcoming restaurant for all.
This small, charming family driven bar/restaurant is ok if You are on a tight budget.I can only assume that it became number one in town, due to "good value for money" or friends of the house...This place might be the best "value for money" joint in town but is not anywhere near the best restaurant. They haven't got a wine list and the menu was written on a piece of paper. Ensalada de presa was good, and the other dishes ok.Daughter was serving, mother cooking and father in the bar (not on the customer side...)If on a tight budget, and You want a cold beer - check it out.If You want a nice meal, and a good bottle of wine served from the wine fridge, then look elsewhere...

Come here for great staff, great food, great drink. Drink sherry, ask what they recommend and go with it. Second time in two years being here and both times great.

Homemade and quality cooking, exploring the flavors most characteristic of the Sierra de Aracena (HUELVA)
it is a small bar so feels full with few people in it. decor not of good quality and needs some tlc. staff took my order but no conversation with them, tapas were given to the locals ordering beers but not to me. I speak Spanish so no reason for them to treat me as an outsider but the bar is mainly for the locals

While travelling from Cadiz to Portugal we wanted to stop for lunch before crossing into Portugal as, in our experience there is more to enjoy over a Spanish lunch....we weren't disappointed. Noria tapas was full outside with locals enjoying a cooling beer or vino whilst chatting away despite the sweltering temperatures!Inside, there was air conditioned comfort and a healthy attendance at the bar. The owner was quick to take our order and was really friendly and helpful in explaining any points on the menu that we had trouble with..he made good suggestions which made sure we had a good cross section of the tapas on offer. Service and food were both really good...portion sizes were definitely generous and there was a great buzz about the place. A definite surprise (in a good way) we have only good things to say about Noria Tapas. Definitely worth a visit for the food and the craic!
We stopped by here one evening. The terrace atmosphere was nicely buzzing with happy young families. I peeped inside - it looked quietly inviting, yet dark and almost clubby like a disco. Everybody seemed to be sitting outside on the small front terrace.Alquimia is right next door to Noria which also seems very popular. We thought we might like order someting to eat, maybe a cake to go with a coffee. However the only menus I could see on the tables at Alquimia were for milkshakes. Odd for a place with the term 'Cafe y Copas' in it's name, especially as there didn't appear to be a coffee menu either. I don't know whether or not Alquimia Café y Copas serves food, tapas or alcoholic drinks.Perhaps they only serve milkshakes.
