Things to do in Angra do Heroismo
Dorry & Ton

You can relax and enjoy the delicious coffees and teas, drinks and snacks.
We've tried the C Bar four times and each time it seemed like we were unwelcome. During our last visit, we sat right next to the bar and were completely ignored while the bartender served others. We finally just left. The location is good if you happen to be touring the castle or staying at the hotel, but don't make a special trip up the hill. At least not before 1800 because it never seems open in the late afternoon. Hi, I just have to apologize if you didn´t like our bar, as i remember, if you are the couple that use our space just for the internet services and the first couple of days i asked if you wanted any drink the answer was no, and even after the bar had a sign saying we open at 6 pm, 1 day , and still you were inside, i still have to apologize, for letting the door open so the customers of the pousada can have a seat in the bar even when is closed. We do pay rent to the pousada to have the bar, is not included in the services when you pay for your room, just for info only. Thanks for your comments and we will do something about it

Simple restaurant that serves well cooked food at very modest prices. Daily specials supplement the printed menu. Have been many many times and never been disappointed. Service is efficient and friendly. Best avoid the midday weekday rush of business people.

We ate at Copacabana three times on our trip to Terceira: two lunches, and one soft serve ice cream. We had two teens who are somewhat adventurous with food with us, but wanted some more comfort food a couple of days. They have traditional food, many of which are meals at great prices, but they also have hamburgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, etc. I had a veggie burger with fries for one lunch, which was decent. The fries on Terceira are mostly unsalted (as far as I can tell) so I don't get the point of eating them. I love my fries salty and, unless they are marvelous by themselves, they are pretty much a conduit for ketchup. The second lunch I had was their special. I highly recommend their soup. I had a salad with tuna and my husband had a salad with grilled chicken. For a pretty plain looking tuna salad, it was amazingly delicious! The meal came with fresh orange juice. Really good! Both times our kids had hamburgers, hot dogs, or club sandwiches. They enjoyed them all. We also all had shakes at some point. They are much thinner than the shakes that we have in the US, but the dairy there is so delicious that my kids thought they were some of the best shakes they ever had. Their soft serve is also much better than some we had in Praia. Very smooth and flavorful. The staff is incredibly nice and speak excellent English. I tried to speak a bit of Portugese and they were kind about my pronounciation. It was a very comfortable and casual place to go, especially if you want something fast, easy, inexpensive, and solidly good.

To arrive in our space is to get home, drop your bag, and enjoy a hot coffee and a slice of homemade lemon pie. Itâs kicking off your shoes, sinking into a big armchair, and drifting along with the melody on the stereo. Itâs the feeling that thereâs nowhe
Had some of the best food at this casual place! I ordered the Azorean alcatra - beef slow cooked w/ wine and spices - sandwich style on typical/ local english muffin type bread. SO delicious that I'm still thinking about it a week later! Staff very friendly and took the time to tell me about local music events.

A cozy room with a pleasant atmosphere where you will find good food and a variety of cocktails!
Went several times to this friendly resto with terrace in the centre of town. They have a good and tasty lunch menu, very cheap. Go early to have a place in the shadow.
