Went here after getting off the steam railway to hide from the rain. Food was really good and arrived quickly. Very friendly to the dog despite him being wet and soggy. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone in the area especially if vegetarian as a good selection on the menu.

Family of 5, booked a table, warm welcome on arrival. We all had one of their special burgers and home made chips. Absolutely delicious , tender and tasty. Chocolate brownie and ice cream and sticky toffee pudding and ice cream were the chosen puddings. Again delicious. Accompanied by a sole acoustic musician next door creating a relaxing atmosphere, whatâs not to like. Would recommend to anyone !

Booked here for my daughters 18th birthday meal. Had a fantastic deal through groupon. Contacted the venue prior to the evening to see if we could perhaps dress the table for the occasion. Staff were very accommodating we dropped everything off on the afternoon and when we went back that evening the staff had dressed the table beautifully. Service was excellent, staff were brilliant and the food was amazing. Thank you for making out evening so special. We will defiantly be returning. With thanks Thomas family.

Came here as it was advertised as dog friendly and they are hard to come by these days. Place has a rustic look a bit tired but in-keeping with its atmosphere and style. Lovely views over Bangor marina. Staff very friendly nothing too much trouble, made fuss of our attention seeking french bulldog Alfie. Prices very reasonable and the meals were of better than average pub grub quality. We would come here again and recommend. Hi there, thank you for your lovely review! We're proud to welcome our canine friends into the establishment- Alfie was certainly worthy of the fuss! I'm glad you had an enjoyable dining experience, and look forward to welcoming you back. Best wishes!

I have eaten at this restaurant twice now and both times have been well above my expectations. The food is well cooked and thought out, with plenty on the menu. Worth mentioning is our waitress Molly who couldn't have helped us any more. She was knowledgeable and friendly, making the whole experience a pleasure. We will be back!
