Join us under the historical Bough Shed, which is the original homestead of the Severin family. A wonderful place for a cold beer or hot drink and a lovely homestyle meal. They say home is where the heart is, even if it is spread over a million acres of r
Whilst this place was so busy the toasted sandwiches were excellent . Very limited menu to choose from but that did make it easy . Felt it could have been easier and better organised ... But if you stop here see if you can do the paper making tour . This was interesting and only across the road . Filled the car up and drove to the Rock ... Hi phillipk8, it has been an extremely busy time for everyone this week. If you have any specific suggestions as to how we could improve any of our systems, please let me know - we are always willing to make adjustments to make things work smoother. Curtin Springs Paper tour are very popular and we find most visitors really enjoying seeing how we use the native grasses on the million acre station, to make handmade paper. I'm glad you enjoyed it! I've passed on your comments to the kitchen staff, it is nice when visitors take the time to say nice things about our great team.

We came here for a Sunday lunch get-together with a large group of adults and children (40+). We were outside and there was enough space to hang around the various tables and the pool. There was a giant chess set game, beanbags, tables and benches, sun umbrellas and chairs around paved and lawn areas. We tended to move with the sun.Everyone ordered separately, mostly from the outside food and beer (and wine) outlets though some ordered from inside. We ordered a Mediterranean tapas platter (not sure of the exact name) with pita bread, dips, olives, etc to share between two. It was nice and light but we should have stopped there because a later order for wedges left us feeling very full! There was a fair amount of variety on the menu and most types of pub food was available.Parking was a bit crowded so we parked behind the Bottle Shop. It looked like there was a campground behind the pub and the outside toilets were more towards that area. The pools were pleasant to sit around though none of our group swam. I liked the ambience of the Macdonnell Ranges near Heavitree Gap looming behind us. It was a great place for an informal get-together.

Worth searching out if you fancy a good meal in very pleasant surroundings. Excellent restaurant and bar with dining terrace overlooking the links. As with most places Australian, very hospitable and friendly service.

This is the Doubletree by Hilton hotel bar, a nice casual but spacious area off entrance lobby, also with outdoor (and non smoking) area. No table service. All drinks and tapas style food is ordered at bar. At busy times, staffing levels not always up to demand but always trying hard (please don't order cocktails when busy). Good range of drinks and wine plus a well put together tapas menu, which has enough to satisfy as a light meal. Has seating for couples through to small groups. Very much enjoyed several visits here pre dinner and for their tapas.

Welcome to Jump Inn Bar & Restaurant! Our food menu features a fusion of Asian and Mediterranean cuisine and we have a unique selection of international craft beers, wines and spirits. Come on in!
We ate here twice while staying here. This was a pleasant surprise! A really nice selection of craft beer, and a limited though interesting menu, with Taiwanese street food and a variation on pad Thai. Not your typical bar menu. Plus live music one night were were there. Photo worthy decor too. Loved the upside down globe lamps!Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to give us this amazing review. We are glad you enjoyed our variety of craft beer and delicious Taiwanese street-style food. We are always working to improve all of those areas and also the atmosphere for people to enjoy the time, a good place for Instagram indeed.Hope to see you come back again.Amy.

From what was great food when it re opened to I would even feed it to my dogs! Our visits got less frequent.I thought Iâd give it another go but should have stayed home for beans on toast.Poor poor service and terrible food. $30 for crap steak, like bootsoles served with shredded carrots on chlorine tasting salad and the end of a corn cob along with a piece of cauliflower. $4 for a flat Coke Zero poured from a 600ml bottle.Sticky sticky floors that you literally couldnât walk on, no poppers and hot wings anymore on the menu....and poorly dressed and hopeless staff. Itâs a shame as it had so so much potential when it reopenedYouâve lost it.

I googled dog friendly pub our first night in Alice and this place came up. Walked 20 minutes to get there with our best mate and it was well worth it. Great atmosphere, good selection of beer, terrible food. We ordered three plates from the tapas menu and they all came out exactly the same colour with the same dipping sauce, tasteless. The chicken was inedible strips of gluten or something I would presume. One star for food, three stars for atmosphere but they get a four for their great dog policy.

Came here for lunch because Bojangles was mobbed with drinkers and wasn't serving food. When I walked in here, there was one guy drinking a beer and it was otherwise vacant. Ordered the basic burger (I think it was called the Rock Burger) which comes with chips AKA french fries. I'd describe the service as indifferent. Once I got my food, I was forgotten. I had to go up to the bar and help myself to some paper napkins and a bottle of tomato sauce for the chips. At first the burger was alright, but then I noticed it was quite pink inside. I ended up only eating about half or so of it. I didn't get the feeling that anything would be done if I complained. The "beer-battered" chips were seasoned and pretty good. I finished and left, without anyone ever checking on me. Will try someplace else next time.Hi Candace,Thank you for your review this is by no means how we pride ourselves in service. Can I please ask you for some more details? Date of visit, any interactions that happened with staff. If you would like to email me if itâs easier my email is [email protected] for this experience I hope you will allow me to rectify it. Regards Fiona

Food was good for being a pub, the vibe was a tad loud but pleasant and cheerful, but the service was very rude and did not seem to care at all about its customers

Well done to the staff with their cheerful and friendly service. A popular venue and the reason might be the nice ambience. Our meals were very tasty, and the choices are varied. I know locals like this place, and a reservation is a good idea.
