My husband and I ate at Fat Daddyâs as we were staying at the Hampton Inn and passing through Minnesota, Alexandria on our way home. This is a great spot. There is a bowling alley attached, lots of big TVâs, darts, fun music, great service, and the food was very good as well. We had the rib special and the rack was huge. It was a good thing we split it because there was no way we would have finished it with the soup and salad included. And....if you stay at the Hampton Inn, you get a 10% discount. With our rib meal, a coke, and my husband had 2 gigantic beers, our bill was $22.00! We would definitely recommend Fat Daddyâs!

First of all this restaurant is NOT in Alexandria, Minnesota. It's in nearby Forada. The restaurant moved to its present location (across the street) in March of 2017.Beer choices are limited. The menu includes 'Broasted' chicken. Think, 'chicken fried in oil under pressure.' The result is a tasty piece of chicken with a crispy, thin crust. The chef forgot to the season the chicken, so tonight's meal gets an 'average' rating. When properly prepared, broasted chicken is first marinated in some kind of (secret?) spicy sauce, then breaded, and then fried.Despite tonight's batch of bland chicken, we'll go back.Prices are reasonable. Located right next to newly constructed Fairfield Inn. Just off 94. Very convenient location. Great selection of brews and food. Great options for vegetarians as well. Good service.

Family were in town on a Friday nite and we stopped into Angelinaâs. Service was exemplary and the food was good. Had the chicken strip for starters and had the chicken Caesar wrap, veggie pasta, a great cheeseburger and the baby had spaghetti. Excellent!

We've been faithful customers of dmb's for years. We love most of their dishes and meals. But we're beginning to see small changes. The menus are beginning to become tattered and frayed. Hard to keep clean and free of grease and finger prints! One of my favorite dishes is the cobb salad. But while I still love them, they've changed...the cold ground bacon with gristle is gross. My wife's Taco salad was awesome! Tidy up a bit...ditch the crappy bacon and print some new menus. Thank you for your comments. We are currently working on a new menu and it should be out early fall. We will most definitely look into the bacon as food items/vendors do change over the years. Thank you for choosing D. Michael B's.

The chicken wild rice soup is excellent. We order it every time we come here. In fact, itâs so good, that we tolerate the rest of the menu, which ranges from good to âwhy did I order this?âLast nightâs (8/12/19) daily special, Spaghetti & Meatballs, was the worst Iâve ever had. The meatballs are not made on-site. They were factory-made, frozen, tough, and weirdly spiced. The sauce that came with them was bitter. The whole dish was put under a broiler to melt âa bitâ of âParmesan-likeâ cheese. Honest: Stoufferâs makes better pasta.Service is good and the ambience is nice. Iâll go back. For the soup.
