Other than the artist being good, this place is not somewhere I'll visit again. I felt as though I was back in the 1980's in a raunchy, dark, beer soaked bar at college. Service was OK and that's stretching it. My order was wrong twice. Food was edible at most. Ask our server for water after giving her a 30% tip and she was never to be seen again. Do not close out your bill until you've ordered and received the food/drink you want. Sound was way too loud. Seating was at a long picnic style table with about 20 other people. It was very difficult to even move. I had a steel pole in view with no way to move around it. The area around the venue seems very nice. If I ever visit the area again, I would find other things to do. The venue is not nice enough in my opinion to go for just that no matter what artist is playing.

I've enjoyed Islands for around 30 years and this is one of the "newer" restaurants over that time. I've been here many times and most recently things were going very well. This place hires local teenagers and young adults as staff and does a good job delivering hot food and good table service.

My wife and I frequent this restaurant as a couple or with friends for brunch, lunch, or dinner. Yesterday, we enjoyed brunch/lunch with a friend. My wife is still raving about the garden frittata, I had my usual lunch favorite (the butter leaf salad with grilled shrimp) with a glass of the Seaglass Pinot Grigio; our friend happily boxed up the rest of her shrimp linguini to take home. Our server (Yan) was friendly and attentive.

A stop for a quick mid-week dinner resulted in some fine food and drink. Of course, I had the obligitory Guinness Stout along with my Killybegs Calamari and Bacon Brussel Sprouts. Delicious! There is plenty of room for large parties, if you are looking for a location. Darts? Yes, and the competition was fierce. If I had more time, I would have hung around. It seemed like a fun place.

Tavern 101 American Grill serves the best American Food and BBQ in Agoura Hills CA. We have an incredible menu filled with mouthwatering selections and delicious drinks.
Visiting from out of town and been there before. Excellent dinner-had the grilling chicken. Corn side was excellent. They stayed opened throughout the Woosley Fire and provided all of the responders and firefighters free meals! Good people to support! Strongly recommend them.

First time here...We opted to sit outside because the live music was so unbelievably too loud that you couldnât hear what someone right next to you was saying. There were plenty of open tables on the patio. The beers were just so-so. The waitress suggested theirLizard beer which tasted pretty bad. As far as the food goes, the tri-tip sandwich was very good. The roll and tri-tip were both flavorful and tender. For $1 you can add Parmesan tater tots (which sounded really good, but totally lacked any flavor - they were just deep fried tater tots with very little Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top). Their pretzel is huge and was ok. Service was pretty mixed up. We had to ask to have our table wiped and clean 3 times and was sticky from the previous guests. The waitress picked up the water bowl for dogs and set it on another dining table. They kept bringing us other peopleâs orders. When we had paid and were about to get up, they brought us another pretzel. We said we had already paid and the server was very confused. Not sure if weâd go back. Sitting on the patio was nice - it was a very warm evening, you could hear the live music just fine without it being painful and it was fun to people watch.

I fell into this place on a Sunday afternoon, to catch a little football before starting my week of business in the neighborhood. The lady that tended bar before 4pm was fantastic - friendly, attentive, helped with an appetizer choice and helped me with a local beer selection. Could not have asked for more. The chap that took over after she left couldn't see me. Helped people to my right and left, despite dropping-off a menu early in his shift, and staring at my now empty beer glass. This went on for 1.5 hours until I called him on it (brusquely). I asked him about a menu selection that was on a rolling TV screen near the bar, and he said it was on the dinner menu (it was 5:30pm by now, and he had given me a lunch menu at ~4pm). Clearly the gent was not engaged, so I bailed. I may go back this week to see if this is a consistent thing or just an individual issue, but I won't be bringing my customer here (too risky).

We had a birthday dinner here on Saturday night. My first time. Staff were great and they honored our reservation on time. The restaurant is pretty but we sat outside which was lovely. We ordered appetizers and liked what we ordered. The spicy tuna special on tempura battered eggplant was my favorite of the night. We also had a burrata/heirloom tomato salad on arugula, which was good. The entrees were all good: Mesquite grilled swordfish, Cioppino (probably the best of the entrees) and the roasted seafood. We had the cream filled donuts for dessert which were ok, but I probably would try something different next time. Which brings me to next time. There will definitely be a next time because there were too many items on the menu that we all wanted to try!

Love this place! Seating is ample, service is quick and responsive. The prices have increased, but that's to be expected. Parking is a bit on the sparse side. All in all, a very enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend this establishment. Definitely worth the drive.
