A very warm and welcoming place, very clean and well presented .The food was fairly priced and the menu was varied and catered for all tastes. The starters delicious, the Desi Platter for two was well cooked and very well spiced. The mains were good,I had chicken vindaloo which was perfectly spiced and cooked. My partner had Coriander Chicken which was cooked well, but she could not taste the coriander at all, which made the dish bland in flavour, the vegetable pilau rice was very good, good variety of vegetables.Would recommend a visit as it was nice.

Regional cuisine of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. All of our dishes are prepared with care in the Saffron kitchen using the finest ingredients and an authentic combination of spices.
We went to cafe saffron yesterday. It is the toilets that I think are not the best.I had to visit the toilet yesterday only to discover that the door wouldnât lock and the only plight was from a naked candle!Disgusting!

As a group of mates, we have been eating at Indian restaurants for nearly thirty years, and this is one of our favourites. Great customer service combined with superb food and very good value. Well worth a try in our opinion.

Stuck in Solihull overnight. Curry needed. TripAdvisor consulted and walking distance acceptable. Well what a find! Perfect portion size. Perfect spicing and different to our normal West Yorkshire offerings. Staff were fantastic. Spoke to the boss as well who was very keen to ensure we had enjoyed our meal. 28 covers. Above their takeaway. Highly recommended.

Welcome to Nashaa. At this authentic Indian restaurant our special dishes and the blend of spices used are truly âaddictiveâ which reflects in the name of our restaurant. Youâll find that the staff are committed to create and provide a true Indian eating
What a visually lovely restaurant this is,it opens out on the front and the first thing that catches your eye is the large fish tank under the bar. Small seating area near the bar before you are taken to a table. The manager's wife designed the interior and it is lovely, very stylish. Prices for the quality of the food are very reasonable and the interaction with the customers by the staff is excellent but not intrusive. Our food was first class We only had poppadom for starters but the mains were so well presented and cooked to perfection. My wife had some kind if chicken curry cooked with onions and coriander which was so tender and very tasty with mushroom rice. I had a tandoori mixed grill, comprising of lamb chicken breast, chicken leg and a shish kebab. Served with mint yoghurt dip and a chapatti. The meat was so tender and not over spiced. If we are ever in Kenilworth again we would certainly return. Really recommend.

I haven't been to the Indian Edge for some time due to personal reasons but had the pleasure of going last week again taking some friends who were visiting the area. The service was impeccable, and the food sublime, and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The only one criticism was the speed at which the mains arrived was a little slow for my liking, however better slow and fresh and tasty. Would highly recommend

We enjoyed a truly delicious meal at Le Raj Spice. All dishes were cooked perfectly and served efficiently and with a smile. It is great to feel welcome as a guest, and for the restaurant management to take pride in what they offer and check that everything is to your satisfaction.

We are situated in Meriden 5 minutes drive from the Birmingham Airport and the NEC and walking distance from Manor Hotel and Strawberry Bank Hotel. Restaurant with takeaway and home delivery service. We can cater for special birthday parties indoor or out
This is a small 2 roomed restaurant above a pub with very pleasant staff. Average poppadoms and chutney etc. OK onion bhajis - a bit heavy and lively chicken chilli tikka starter. Fish curry mains and chicken dish with nan satisfying mains. The wine list limited to 3 reds (based on grape variety) same with whites + a rose. Our white sauvignon blanc served with the patter that this was a wine from Bangladesh - since when was Chile a part of Bangladesh? - all a bit of friendly banter

I hadnât been to Tamarinds for quite some time and this visit reminded me why. We went for a friendâs birthday celebration....she is a big fan of Tamarinds... and had the dish dash dine: starter and main plus rice or nan for £10.95.A friend and I wanted to eat vegetarian and asked if we could each have 2 veg side dishes instead of a main under the terms of the dish dash dine; this request was refused by Mintu the gaffer who was rather surly and not at all hospitable. All the more difficult to understand as the cost of a veg starter, 2 veg sides plus a nan was less than £10.95!I had a stuffed pepper to start....it was floppy, lacked seasoning and came with a tired salad. I had Chana bhuna for main which was chickpeas sitting on top of some fried onions...just about edible. My veggie friend had sag panir which looked good but was stone cold. The nan bread was hot and tasty, mushroom pilau was ok, nothing special. The service was disappointing, my wife had to ask twice before her drink was served and the waiters spent more time chatting to each other than dealing with the customers.Normally I would have pointed out all the shortcomings regarding the food to the restaurant staff but I didnât as it would have impacted on my friends birthday celebration.Overall a fairly underwhelming dining experience and in stark contrast to what you get across the road at the Bengal Brasserie where the staff are charming, friendly, helpful and amusing, the food is hot and tasty, and nothing is too much trouble.

We have TRIED to have Sunday Lunch here on two separate occasions, both times to NO avail !! Last Sunday 2nd March we had pre booked a table for three people for 12.45pm (the Restaurant advertises opening hours at 12.30pm!!!!) we arrived at 12.30pm into the car park, as there looked to be no signs of life within the Restaurant the three of us sat in then car, at 12.50pm I left the car and walked across to the Restaurant which still had the doors locked, I peered through both windows and again no signs of any staff!!! I went back to the car and informed my Wife and her Niece and we all agreed this was totally Unacceptable and Unprofessional, so we left and drove round to the White Horse pub for our lunch!! Would NOT recommend this Restaurant as they can't be bothered to open, even when you have a confirmed reservation!! Disgraceful!!
