This is a family run Punjabi Indian restaurant with an excellent reputation for exquisite Indian cuisine within the Uttoxeter area. We also offer a free delivery and collection service and in addition to this we also cater for large parties in our new sty

Judging by other comments on this thread, I can only imagine that we caught the Indian Spice on a bad night. However, I have to say it as i saw it.It took the staff ages to take our order and even longer to serve us. After enquiring after our initial drinks order our waiter told us quite tersely that he was âbusyâ and that we âwould have to waitâ. A further enquiry from another member of our party at the bar was responded to in a similarly short fashion too. Some poppadums were eventually dispatched as an apology for our wait on the starters but were unfortunately too stale and soggy to be viewed as any kind of treat. My food was infinitely forgettable when we did finally get served, not bad, just bang average be honest.I hope that these comments can be taken constructively and used to maintain what seems to have previously been a very high standard at this restaurant.

Went for a change from our regular curry house, we should have stayed there !! Madras tasteless & watery chicken was dry,Chicken Dupiaza was the same, the garlic nann not very garlicky dry . The nice thing was the popadoms, the chap who served us was nice and polite ' . Safe to say we wouldn't go back

First visit to Uttoxeter and fancied a curry. We chose the Kohi Noor and having popped into Waitrose for the wine, as it is bring your own alcohol, we had a great meal. I have been in certain bring your own restaurants before where it is a little tense when you do, not a bit of that here, bottle opener and glasses immediately provided. The food was excellent, generous portions and very tasty. The naga chicken was advertised as very hot and it was VERY hot, which makes a nice change from so many establishments. Pleasant friendly atmosphere and would highly recommend.
