Newly opened - May 2009. Penrhyndeudraeth is abour 2 miles from Porthmadog, 1 mile from Portmeirion. It is the only restaurant in the village and by far the best indian restaurant in the area. Serves Bangladeshi cuisine, full of flavour and more like home

We enjoyed delivery of a takeaway from this restaurant on Monday 16 September 2019. The food was wonderful, some of the best Indian food I've ever tasted in the 30 years I've lived in the UK. The phone service was great too: nothing was too much trouble, even though they weren't sure where our caravan was. The mint sauce that came with the (gorgeous!) samosas was quite obviously their recipe and made fresh. The entire meal was a delight from start to finish. I wish we lived closer so we could enjoy a Sima takeaway every week! Look forward to next year's holiday partly so we can partake again. Thanks both to staff and to the brill young woman who delivered our order.

Visited on a Saturday evening without booking. A large party already there, quietly enjoying the meal.Service is 'relaxed', which i prefer to the over attentive sort..it's nice not to be rushed. The onion bhagis were tasty and the chicken jalfrezi had plenty of 'bite'. Portion size was 'much more than i could eat'. I liked the quiet demeanour of the gentleman serving us. Very reasonably priced too. Interior is plainish but lighting fairly soft. I enjoyed the meal and I would eat there again.
