Came here with my friend last night (Wednesday 27th) it was pretty quiet with only a few tables in. I've never eaten here before, but heard such good things! The restaurant is a lot bigger than what it looks. We had 1 main and 1 rice each, shared a naan and had a drink each and the bill was just over £14 each! Really good value for what we had and we definitely left full. Curry's were creamy and rich. Would definitely come again! - They have a special offer on Tuesdays where you get a starter, main, side, and rice for £13 (I think!) Worth a try!

Visited last weekend with friends and had a delightful meal. Well cooked and presented, very tasty and very reasonable. The restaurant was busy with both diners and take away services but we had excellent service and thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

We needed a last minute meal with new guests who arrived unexpectedly, both American and Indian, and they knew their stuff. They were genuinely surprised, and complimentary on the quality and authenticity of the food. We have always used the Curry Kitchen, but it was good to have it validated like that. I always order and pick up take-outs myself, as I tend not to trust delivered food so much just because it can be hanging around in a moped or whatever. One tip is to add to the meal by going to the Nisa store on Dacre Road Hitchin - a selection of pappads, pickles and desserts to make your mouth water!.

Last night my family ordered over £100 worth of curry at this seemingly very nice looking restaurant. Iâve eaten there before a few years ago (5 years ago!) and the food was delicious. Unfortunately we had a take away and this time it was horrible. The food was swimming in oil and some of the many dishes ordered were bright pink - a colour I didnât think looked fresh and natural for a tikka masala. I ordered tandoori chicken which was so revolting and again swimming in oil I had to throw it away. To top it off my daughter was ill ( throwing up) the following morning. She had eaten a Shoshana kebab. This begs the question: how clean is their kitchen? How fresh is their food? They seem nice folk there and their refurbishment looks good but it now explains a few things to me why they are no longer busy and every time I pass their window itâs almost empty. My advice? Get a new ( hygienic) chef!

Dropped in here on a Sunday night about 10.00pm for a meal after meeting family at Lutn Airport. A few lads (mature) were celebrating and a little noisy, but soon left and we were by ourselves. The food was good and served propmptly. The staff were very friendly and helpful and didn't mind us staying till nearly midnight. We would go again. King Prawns and chicken dishes were very good.
