By far the discovery in Wagrain! The fantastic food is only beaten by the even more fantastic and friendly staff. Add the authentic location, and youâll find yourself a true diamond in the Austrian Alps.

This alm is at the top og the Flachau. You can reach this by Startet 3 lift or by the cablecar from Wagrain. It has nice sitting area outside and inside and build in alm style with woods. It is normally crowded and sometimes you have to wait to get a table. The food here is good and the prices are resonable. Try the traditional austrian desserts, they are realy great. The service here is quick and good. We ate lunch here 3 times during our week stay in Flachau. Nice alm.

Our appartment is just across from this restaurant. Our first visit many years ago was out of convenience, after that we return every year. This is a family run restaurant and ajoining hotel. The restaurant is seperate from the dining area for guests. Menu has al sorts of traditional Austrian dishes and more local ones. Very nice and big choice for children. Our absolute favorite is the Chateaubriand which actually serves at least 3p. This year we made reservation for Christmas eve. The menu tradional but excellent and nice touch were the trumpet players, which played some Christmas carolls.

Cosy Restaurant in the center of wagrain. We serve Fondue, Steaks, Burger, Spareribs and typical lokal food. Restaurant is only open in winter. in summer we serve half board for our hotel guests
Nice little family run business. We found it by accident when searching for a place to eat. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children, found a table without reservation. The food was good and so was the ambient. At the end we were a bit rushed as the place was full and others were coming, but overall a good place to eat

We ordered meat and vege burgers, burgers were average but the side dishes were great - crunchy fries, Coleslaw, small green salad. Although the waitress did not speak English well and the menu is only in German, we felt welcome with a lot of care about us and our wishes. Just train your German :)

Over the years this place has grown from a simple hut to the place-to-be, but did not lose any of it's charm. Great Schnapps and dishes for lunch or dinner. A bit more vegetarian dishes would be noce, but dumplings with spinach were superb! Location at bottom of Flying Mozart skipiste, with bus stop, this is ideal to meet up with friends/grand parents joining you if they do not ski. As every year, we'll be back!

I've got recommended from my father to visit Auhofalm during my vacation in Austria. And just as he told me, the place was super nice! Very nice environment, delicious food, service minded stuff, good price, and they accept credit card (not all restaurants in that area do that).

The restaurant above was packed and we dropped 50m to this place. I disliked entering via a smoke filled room to find the non smoking part of the restaurant to the side. However the staff were particularly friendly and there was plenty of room for groups of 10 to sit.Pastries did not appear to be made on site, but it was a pleasant place for a lunch time stop. One of the nicer modern restaurants on the mountain.

We had dinner 2 times at this restaurant and were surprised about the quality of the food. Service was very good and prices better than expected. unfortunately we had to leave town to go home 2 days after we found this restaurant, at the Flying Mozart base station
