Had a potato soup and a dish with local mushrooms - both excellent. great service as well. having been to most locations at weissensee, this is in my view the best one that is relatively easy going.

short 1 hour hiking to the Alm and delicious food, cows right next to the place, very picturesque view

Good selection of Austrian dishes and quick service with good sized portions at a reasonable price. Relaxed about guests staying around for a beer afterwards. They also have their own mini-golf for those who are so inclined (i.e. us). We visited when there was a band playing and they were truly awful.

Having just done the round the lake cruise on Weissensee we were peckish and this little cafe is very close the boat landing point so we thought we would get a salad or something. To cut a long story short, the salads were actually quite delicious, that is until one of us found a live caterpillar in the food. Happily he did not eat it but it wriggled uncomfortably on the side of the place so he could kee the evidence. Trouble was that they did not really take this very seriously. For me I could not really finish the meal properly - avoiding the lettuce! This was a great shame because otherwise it would have been really nice. Our friend was given a free coffee but no apology and really I do not think this was a proper compensation for something which affected all of us.

When day breaks, you perceive the scent of of freshly-baked bread and pastries from our in-house bakery/ confectionery. From 7.00 a.m. we offer you a wide range of fresh bread, bread rolls and superb pastries (cakes, tarts, strudels, confection and much m
It was almost 3 p.m. and we were hungry after ice-skating. Holzer was the third restaurant we tried, having been rejected at others which only served lunch until 2:30 p.m. We were not the only late "lunchers" as the place was packed and we managed to grab the last vacant table on the veranda (with beautiful view of the lake). Service was friendly, but they obviously had not counted on being that popular as we had to wait quite a bit for our food to arrive. I had the pizza Venecia [sic!], which I ordered in the smaller version (-1.50 EUR). It was o.k., but the crust tasted like your average freezer pizza and it also tasted quite garlicky. We had two children in our party who appreciated the fact that the kids' pizza came with a small sweet treat. The other novelty are flatscreen TVs in toilet cubicles, meaning you can watch Mr. Bean while sitting on the toilet...My friends also tried the cake and found it quite good. There also was quite an impressive ice-cream menu, but none of us felt like a big dessert. Coffee certainly was very nice and exceeded my expectations. All in all, no culinary highlight, but a nice and friendly place with fair prices.

Regitnig's Restaurant is popular for it's chilly and culinary atmosphere at the terrasse or in the Restaurant with lake view. In the centre of Techendorf, Regitnig's Restaurant offers a delicious traditional kitchen with new influences and the popular car
Altough in the centre, it was not easy to find. Finally we saw the terras with its great view over the lake. Best part however was the food and (Veltliner) wine. We had the home made Gnocchi and Spring rolls. It was made with love! A very nice waitress served us well. Finally the price was also friendly.Great place!
