We sat outside and had a perfect table with an amazing view. Die Gartenrast is a great place with beautiful terrase overlooking the valley. We ordered the chicken whitch was excellent prepared, the service and atmosphere was perfect. We highly reccomend this restaurant.
Fellacher Inn Cosy and genuine The Fellacher Inn is a very cosy and rustic restaurant with about 50 seats and a beautiful terrace. The chef spoils the guests with a rustic and traditional Austrian cuisine: Roast pork from the old-fashioned stove, goulash
very cosy little restaurant, ab bit difficult to find as it is hidden in the Alm Village. They offered a very tasty menu with 2 mains.

Alpine lodge with sun terrace, service, delicious Carinthian food The Strohsackhütte is a popular ski lodge at the valley station for the Strohsack lift, just a few metres away from the Kaiserburg intermediate station. Here skiers and winter hikers get to
This hut is situated in very good location, right next to the lift, and all the day as you are skiing you can smell the food from there. Finally when we came in for lunch, hut was nice and warm. The food was even better than the atmosphere. I strongly recommend gulash soup. We didn't wait long for food even though the place was packed with people. So thanks for food and friendly behavior there! Keep it up! :)
» Traditional parlours and delicious treats « Small traditional parlours, the wooden floor creaks and candlelight makes the eyes shine when food is served, that skilfully combines Austrian tradition with regional products. Everything is real and genuine,
Part of the later additions to the Almdorf Seinerzeit, this beautiful Austrian restaurant is part of the resort's main building and it's absolutely charming. A more modern take on the typical alpine lodge but nonetheless it's very atmospheric and picturesque. It's high end for the area and for the style of restaurant and we loved it. Great menu, great service and great food. In better weather there's outdoor seating with views over the valley. You could stop at 50 restaurants and never find anything this pretty again. Quintessential Austria (or Carinthia perhaps...)

When you are walking to the middle of the village, you will find this place just on the opposite side of the Roemer Bad. They have more guests for supper. Try to be early for weekends; it means before 7 p. m. They serve ordinary Austrian and Carinthian food from soups to Wiener schnitzel and they have nice salads and fine desserts. When you order main dish â it is big enough for two persons. Place is not expensive if you donât order expensive wines. Fine eating but nothing really special.

We drove bay this place and decided to stop for a quick early dinner before our trip back home. It was an great decision... service was very good and quick, the food was excellent and the prices are also very fair.Tomato soup was very good, as was Frittatensuppe - local beef soup with pancakes. I had Wild salmon which was probably the best salmon I ever had in a restaurant. Slices of Chickenfilet from Charinthia was also excellent. Love the way they bring you your receipt... :)Highly recommended!

With the âEinkehrâ, the Trattlerhof has recreated all the chalet romance you would find in an alpine holiday village. The special feature: both at lunchtime and in the evening, the chalet restaurant has become a sort of âculinary outpostâ of the Trattlerh
First we noticed the Einkehr from the outside. The lovely heart ornaments, the open fire, the sheep skins. We decided to have dinner there and reserved a table. We were seated on the first floor and the atmosphere of that floor and the people was exquisitely cosy and warm.It gets all the highest marks. The food was very good, our dessert was a surprise, a pear with mousse , very yummy and new to us both.My grilled meat was average, as was the fish. The french fries and grilled vegetables were excellent too.Thank you for your positive review! We are very pleased that you that we could inspire you with our culinary offer. Your honest feedback is our motivation to allow new culinary experiences for our guests. We would be happy to welcome you again soon in the Trattlers Einkehr and wish you all the best. We are pleased also to present selected beef cuts in our restaurant Adriana alongside traditional specialties such as boiled beef or beef tartare. The steak sizes as Rib Eye Double, Tomahawk & Porter House, of course, in Dry aged beef quality, served on a
I would definitely not rate this restaurant no. 2 in the area how currently is ranked. It definitely doesnât deserve such a good valuation. Me and my girlfriend rely quite often on tripadvisor and this time we were very disappointed with both service and food. The interior design is quite welcoming and sort of let you remain with the promise of equally interesting food. Nothing more misleading! The look of the food gives you the impression of good quality and taste but definitely underperforming. We ordered Wiener schnitzel which arrived without a lemon, the tartare of salmone tasted like one from a can, not seasoned at all, the tomato soup tasted tinned tomatoes with too much cream (squirty) on the top. The staff is constantly in rush, not very chatty and apparently having some difficulties to speak Italian or German. We noticed that there were some guests drinking and not eating so maybe this place is made for drinking rather than eating. In fairness, we didnât try steaks which looked quite good but the rest of the food was very disappointing.
