Thus buschenshank is located at the top of a huge hill that looks over the valley. The house is an old villa type and over looks all vineyards. It's a beautiful view. The menu is not extensive however the portion sizes are unusually small. The wine is the usual great standard. There is a huge eating area outside with a play area for kids. Well recommended just for the view.

The Café Rosegger is right in the center of Leibnitz, a town half the way between Graz and Maribor, Slovenia. This Café is really nice and offers many of the Austrian desserts Austria is so famous for. Her you can get plenty of different tarts, cakes, all sorts of pastries and even the famous Temmel Ice Cream known all over Styria for its creamyness. Oh you donât want to miss this creamyness. You can sit in the nice inside or in the patio and experiencing the life of the main street promenade of Leibnitz. The staff is friendly and willing to help you translating the German menu. Here at Rosegger in Leibnitz you can truely experincing the life of the locals of Styria called Steirer right along enjoying your delicous pastry or tart and your creamy coffee or even your super-creamy Temmel Ice Cream, which is a true Styrian product with stores in LA and Istanbul for instance. From Leibnitz with love!Dr. Dr. Immanuel Fruhmann

We accidentally found ourselves in the area and happened across this restaurant. Soup was amazing and the steak was so tender and juicy. Wine was interesting and delicious. Honestly, we were not expecting such a great restaurant here. Oh.... and the service/staff so lovely. I'll be trying to come back sometime.... and I'm from Australia :-)

Enjoy tasty moments and a marvellous panoramic view at the new "Gasthaus Tscheppe". A selected range of styrian cuisine dish
While meandering along the Südsteirische Wine-route, I stumbled across the place. It has a terrific outdoor terrace with a breathtaking over the vineyards nearby. The service was very pleasant and we enjoyed the food.(no Haube or Michelin, price quality perfect) The Sulztal doesn´t seem so touristy as other parts of the Wine-route. Border with Slovenia is very near.Nearby is a backroad called Südsteirische Panorama Route, an absolute must!

An Austrian "Wirtshaus" (a kind of a typical regional restaurant), a high representative of Austrian tradition. Don't expect Nouvelle Cuisine but you will be surprised how well preserved the genuine Austrian kitchen will unveil its secrets to you, like fried chicken (not to be mixed up with Kentucky fried chicken), Wiener Schnitzel (extraordinary good quality), Schweinsbraten (cannot be translated)', Tafelspitz (one of the favourite dishes of our former Emperor Franz Josef I and his wife Sisi), cooked to perfection. Moreover, an original speciality of the region is the "Upset Chicken" (a literal translation) which is a roasted chicen on potatoes crispy and fresh from the oven. Chose the perfect white wine from this area, the famous Southern Styria: Tement, Brolli, Lackner Tinnacher,... whoever you choose, no mistake. My favourite one for the "Upset Chicken" (aufgesetzte Henne) is the WeiÃburgunder of Manfred Tement. The "Salzburger Nockerl" at this place don't need to fear comparisons to restaurants at the orgigin of this desert (Salzburg, for those who don't know), fluffy inside, with a descent crispy surface just to enjoy. Go there, enjoy. My preferred time is lunch time. Nice light, very good service, and a high risk to forget about the rest of the day....The owner, Niklas (well, you might need to get used to his special kind of humor) will try everything to make you feel good.

Worth the drive to enjoy this restaurant. A charming Styrian delight...great view, sit outside if weather is nice. I recommend the fried chicken, just excellent. And a salad with pumpkin seed oil. Fabulous.

We`ve been in the Kogel3 for a quick lunch and the place wasn`t busy at all. The service staff was very welcoming and quick, the menu quite small (which is a good thing) and the local wines are excellent. The atmosphere is quite relaxed and the prices moderate. So far, the best restaurant in the area.

Came to this restaurant by accident. It was Easter time and most of the restaurants in the area were closed, but this one was open. We were surprised by the quality of food as well as by the size of the portions :) Kitchen is Austrian but not greasy. You can share main courses and deserts - both are huge!
