We didn't eat, but drank some beers and the kids had hot chocolates. The service was great- they brought out everything to us and were incredibly nice. The views from the restaurant on the patio are just incredible. Wow. There are also sling chairs to relax in while looking at the alps. Just beautiful.
Great little Bavarian outdoor café. Itâs all self service and has a biker theme but great local beer and the currywurst mit pomme frites hit just the spot after a dayâs travelling. A place the locals use so you know it has to be good. We would definitely stop by next time weâre passing. Far as we know itâs only open evenings. Cost for 2 with beers under 25 Euro

We liked our meal so much the first night, we ate here the next night too. Many locals were at the other tables. Had different salads, entrees and desserts each night and liked everything (I am a picky eater too). I suggest getting a reservation.

This hotel is a class act from start to finish. Located in a scenic area with wonderful views. The rooms are modern and impeccably clean. The breakfast was as good as will be found. Healthy food or delectable treats side by side. The staff treated us royally and we would love to come back. There is a community swimming pool a short walk away and hiking everywhere. There are washers and dryers for your convenience with an ironing board and iron in the laundry room. The natives are friendly!

Romantic-alpine mountain lodge at 1,320 m. with special bavarian delights and wonderful panoramic views to the fairytale castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. Ascent over the "Schutzengelweg" at the Tegelberg-station for hikers or forest road for mou
A great view and well prepared from inside. The staff is friendly and offers quick self service. We have ordered Original Allgäuer Kässpätzle but we're not satisfied with the quality. Very oily and sticky as well no good taste. Anyhow, it is worth to visit. May they had a bad day and the have many other choices in the menu.
Where to eat Mediterranean food in Hohenschwangau: The Best Restaurants and Bars

My son and I decided upon this small pub/restaurant based upon TA reviews, and we made a great decision. The food was excellent, plentiful, and really inexpensive. There was only one person working when we were there, but the place is very small (5 or 6 tables plus a small bar) and he had no trouble providing good service. He didn't speak English, but there is an English version of the menu he was able to provide. We had the schnitzel and the grilled meat dinner respectively. Both meals gave a ton of meat, and both came with a beautiful salad and a huge pile of fries (potato salad was available as well). We left stuffed, but very happy. This restaurant is a bit outside of Reutte, but is only a couple minutes drive. If you want simple, authentic Austrian food for a very reasonable price, you won't go wrong here.

We were told that we stayed too long and there might be guests coming, when I haven't yet finished my beer and it was raining cats and dogs outside! At the time, the restaurant was half empty, and there were other guests staying as long as us, or even longer, and I didn't see them got asked (we only stayed for about 1 hour). Discrimination towards Asians?

My wife and I stayed 3 nights in Fuessen and we really enjoyed the excelent dinner we had at Kuess die Hand. Our highlights:1) Excelent and well prepared dishes. I had a great raviolli (picture) and my wife tried the meat, also very good;2) Very friendly and attentive owners/staff. One of them was born in Italy, maybe thatâs why the pasta was so good!3) Great location and atmosphere, with small candles in each table, good and soft music playing inside...4) The desserts are really fantastic, my wife tried the strudel (excelent, warm and cryspy with a vanila topping) but the highlight was a dessert that I forgot the name, with an appricot filling that was recommended by the owner (picture). We were very satisfied with Kuess die Hand and other great restaurants in Fuessen (Chapeu and Zum Hechten)!
