Earlier we have been researching for restaurants but Rebberg did not surface until we got a recommendation from the proprietor of S'Matt. This is what we called service & why.We called them to ask if they still take reservation for after 21:30. Why 21:30? We are attending a concert at Montforthaus which starts at 19:00 and we expect the concert should be finished by 21:30. The man(then, we found out that he is the Boss) on the phone pleasantly told us that they are fully booked but probably, we can call again around that time so that they can be assured a place for us. By that time, number of reserved diners may have left or leaving. Compared to other restaurants that we have called, we were told abruptly that they are fully booked and no further discussion. Eventhough, these restaurants are open till 24:00.So, Rebberg already gave us our 1st positive impression. When we called them again at 21:30, the boss, delightfully told us that we can come over. Upon arrival, there were many earlier diners leaving and the lady immediately greeted us and ushered us to a table. The menu was very extensive which does not make deciding any easier. For starter, knowing that the portion could be big for each of us, we asked if we can share the Terrine Boletes. The waitress checked with the kitchen and came back with a positive response. The Boletes Terrine is very light and well-seasoned. One can even taste the slight chewyness of the Boletes which we find this as a perfection. We ordered the pork steak and beef fillet. The portion are very sizeable. The meat were still very juicy and succulent. The pork was just rightly cooked and the beef, medium rare was spot on. Normally, we would not be able to finish such portion and at this time of the night but savouring every slice of the cut was divine. Now, for the wine, despite being a wine cellar, they did not try to sell us a bottle instead they happily met our request of just 0.5liter of red wine from Burgenland(recommended by the lady boss). Towards the end, the boss also came out to chat with us and offered/served us Digestifs.Overall, authentic personable service with divine cuisine and without burning our pockets. We will definitely return.

While Feldkirch has a more a historic character âBunt Barâ is a refreshing change for younger travelers. After eating out in all the nice and rustic Austrian restaurants I was delighted to end up in a contemporary but cozy bar and popular hang out within Feldkirchâs old town.Besides a wide drink selection, including several cocktails Bunt Bar offers a dinner menu with international and local dishes from 6-10pm. In particular during summer the outside patio is very inviting but will be closed at 10pm. However, you always can celebrate inside until the early morning by enjoying changing music gigs.Average entrée: EUR 10-25.+ nice bar with a cozy patio, + nightlife spot in Feldkirch

This restaurant is conveniently located in the Feldkirch city centre, not far from the shopping area and the railway station. The menu offers a good variation of local dishes, there is a large outside seating area (in summer) and the atmosphere is very genuine. Service comes with a large smile, prices are very democratic and are excellent value for money! Highly recommended!

Located out of Feldkirch centre, rather charming rural location:adjacent to the restaurant is a small historic church and well restored centuries old house.Pleasant traditional guesthouse with an imaginative menu providing very good, very well presented food.Seating inside and outside, not too expensive.

This restaurant, on the list of recommended mid range eateries from Hotel Bären) is at the southern end of Marktgasse. There are at least a dozen or so restaurant surrounding Marktgasse. The area can be quite pleasant at dinner time. The very helpful young lady at the front desk of our hotel told us that Johanniterhof offers "small dishes", In Austria, this seems to mean that a simpler, non 3-course dinner. As we were to find out the next night some "fine dining" establishment in town takes this pretty seriously. We ordered mixed salad (another one with too much dressing), spaghetti (average) and goulash (average). The service was good. Our waiter was attentive and efficient. We did have a relaxed meal and enjoyed the pleasant evening on the square.

At the foot of the mighty Schattenburg fortress, Reinhard Rauch has built up his own little culinary kingdom, whose heartbeat is the âRauchâ at city center of the historic town.
We were here on a family event. Food was excellent as always - I had beef, prepared just perfectly a point.Only small complaint is that we had to wait quite long for the food and they served the different main courses not at once but with some delay. They are very child-friendly as well. This is the best restaurant we know in Feldkirch, we will surely return.

The restaurant is well-known for the Schattenburgschnitzel at home and abroad for many years. This speciality comes in a royal size and should be tried at least once. Furthermore you find delicious Austrian Food on our menu.
Giant Schitzel with a good portion of crispy fries and a salad make a perfect lunch if you are hungry. Service was efficient and prices are very reasonable. Nice setting in an old castle. Lots of tourists and locals having their lunches so the place gets busy.

From Eye candy to delights " is the motto of the sky blue house in the heart of Feldkirch's old town, right at the foot of the castle Schattenburg. Since 1979, the Family Gallaun and their Team have been trying hard to please the guests. The ambience behi
The place is nice The food is plentiful and of good quality. very good attention. Recommended. Wiener pork schnitzel which is always a dish of good price-quantity / quality ratio in Austria. It cost 13.80 Euros. Other dishes such as trout: Forellenfillet (20.80) and Kalbsleber liver (23.70) are more expensive. The beer very good (4.10 Euros). Excellent desserts The balsamic-vanilla is really original and tasty.

Typical Austrian, delicious food. They sometime also have themed weeks, like Spanish or Australian BBQ. Very friendly service. Great for the kids, who can either go to playground or climb along the hill to the "secret house".
