We had a good lunch here, although not everything went great. I personally ordered the Schnitzelburger (⬠4,80) but without onions (allergic). Unfortunately I got it with onions. They changed is quickly and I got a coffee for free in the end. Which is a decent solution.
This restaurant has recently been opened by a well known local chef. There is adequate seating within or in a covered garden. All the dishes that we have sampled have been professionally prepared, tasty â however in quantities normally offered to a very hungry mountaineer. The service is friendly, apart from various beers there is limited wine list. A good place to visit after a walk through the local beautiful countryside.

This place is very special. For sure because you have to take a walk of about 5km through the mountains to get there. It will take you about 1:15-1:30. Even for my children, 6 and 8, it was not too far. The view from the restaurant is lovely. The menu is not very large but for me there was a good choice with a Wiener schnitzel (12,80 Euro). And I must say it was a good one.

Near the big Spar supemarket this is a nice place to have a lunch. Prices are very reasonable. I had the salat with salmon, for just 7,50 euro. I will add the photo later to give an impression.

The staffs are very nice, welcoming and professional. The portions are enormous and the food delicious - come hungry ;-). Not a particularly long menu (eg no pasta and few vegetarian options) but I believe everyone could choose. Reasonable pricing. I definitely recommend.

This mountain hut restaurant is located in a wonderful setting, traditional and authentic for the area, excellent food most of which is sourced locally, friendly efficient service together with an interesting Austrian wine selection. We visited with a group of 20 people from various countries and also hired some neighbouring musicians. Everyone was delighted with rave reviews for the Venison that was presented in 2 different forms. There is a choice of limited cheaper dishes or from more extravagant alternatives. The owner/ chef, Norbert is indeed a master of his craft . Whilst the menu list is far from expensive, the dishes offered are 1st classHowever, please be advised that this restaurant is closed Mondays and Tuesdays, a good satnav will help you to guide you to this location.!

Had driven by this place for a week and finally had a meal their. They are very busy and very popular. The menu is not large but what they serve is very good and nice portions. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Prices are moderate in range. Very clean and nicely laid out.

Our excursion restaurant has closed seasonally from the end of October to May 2020. By May 2020, we have reopened!
We visited this Gasthaus for lunch, during a hike around the Hallstatt lake. They have outdoors tables and the view over the lake and mountains is breathtaking. We ordered a portion of fried chicken, a typical "snack" made by buttered bread, cheese and salami and a slice of poppy-seed cake, an apple juice and a small radler beer for a total of â¬30. They have English menu and the staff is friendly. Recommended!
