This is half way around an easy-ish hike from the main road. You can continue on from here back to the two large hotels. The view in stunning in summer and the food very good. It got very busy around 1pm and people were struggling to find a seat, especially those in groups of more than 4. The food is very filling and we didnât finish a main of grilled meat with polenta that we shared having started with a speck and liver dumpling soup. Service is in German and Italian.

Our friends have stayed several times at the Berghotel Zirmerhof and this is one of their favourite places in the Dolomites. This time we were a group of friends that visited for lunch. The location is fabulous and the view from the hotel/restaurant is the most breathtaking scenery that I have seen in the Dolomites. We went for a 1-2 hour hike before lunch. Great walk, lots of edible mushrooms, nice cows.We had a most excellent lunch. Great, friendly and fast service. As starters we had the best mozzarella that we have had in years, delicious main courses. Great local wines.

I ate twice during my stay in the area at this restaurant. The service is gentle and quick, food is typical and generous.I would suggest Canederli in broth and the tagliatelle with Deer ragout.Try the desserts, all very tasty and abundant, prices are reasonable for the area

Seems to be very popular at the locals at it was full over lunch time and we did share a table with another couple. Food was good and affordable, specially when you like meat!!! This is a meat lover place, but for vegetarians only salat and side dishes, but still good. The Tomato/Mozarella was perfect and the baken Zucchini have been very good and popular wit the crowd. Self-Service no problem and very quick, easy and convinient. We did like it for a quick snack!
