Interesting building, very pleasant staff and service was fine. Bit light on for food choices although we were lucky to arrive at around 11.35 so got choice of breakfast or lunch menu.I had eggs, bacon, mushrooms and tomato which was nice enough. Unfortunately the Wife's Pumpkin soup with toasted bread was a real disappointment. She has recently had the same thing at two other cafes and this one was by far the worst. There were chunks of carrot or something not properly blended and the sour cream added had curdled so it was lumpy. Apparently it was pretty tasteless too. Which was a real shame. So i would have liked to give more but can't go higher than 3 stars.

A small timber cottage built by the owners using locally milled timber. Opened our doors Sept 1st, 2017. A cafe/ merchant selling locally sourced homestyle food and some produce items.
Great lunch with plenty of delicious options.A couple of great vegan options. We had the curry and the vegetable soup.Other family members also had the focaccias and really enjoyed them.Would definitely recommend and come back.Lots of character and charm.Tphank you

Food was very good, make sure you order your steaks a bit more done than you want, I ordered well done & it was medium-well done. Deserts were amazing. Lovely view of hillsides with cows & ocean beyond. Has indoor & outdoor seating. Chairs inside were very comfortable. Padded seat & back for most of them. Staff were friendly & helpful. Restaurant was clean. Definitely worth a visit.

Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to this amazing little hidden gem. Actually go in and sit down and enjoy. The pizza is perfect. It doesn't leave you feeling the usual pizza bloat that many places do. The staff are wonderful... It's a regular for us now.

Massive meal servings. Great value for money especially when you see how huge the servings are. Very well presented food and quite delicious. We had the Sweet-Ness burger, jacket potato and kids platter with smoothies. All were exceptional. We couldn't help ourselves but to take home a lemon/lime cheesecake, espresso custard slice and strawberry lamington too. Their dessert range is tremendous!

Rural cafe just outside Wynyard Tasmania, with panoramic views of rolling hills and the ocean. Relaxed atmosphere. Seasonal lunch menu, using local produce.
We visited on Saturday after recommendations from a friend. It is the most stunning place with wonderful views. Every window is like a painting. We had a delicious lunch finished of with the most beautiful desserts, especially the sticky date pudding. Thank you so much for your beautiful review. It makes us so happy to hear feedback like yours. So glad you enjoyed it.

We recently visited Wynyard for the tulip fesival. After we settled into our motel room, we headed to the local Pub for dinner. The Wharf hotel was the closest one and looked lovely both inside and out. The service was friendly too, however the meals were very lack lustre. I ordered the Chicken and Mushroom Gnocchi. I liked the novel fried homemade gnocchi, but the chicken seemed just boiled in the sauce and was so tough and flavourless I didnât eat any of it. The sauce was so thin it needed a spoon. This was obviously intentional as the dish was served with a soup spoon but not what I had envisaged for a main. Hubby ordered the Chicken Quesadilla but it wasnât quite what he expected and not to his liking, so he left it too. We may have just been unlucky as later we met a couple who had eaten there and enjoyed what they had ordered.

Old corner store turned Cafe, serving simple, rustic, flavoursome food made with love and lots of fun. Accessible to all. Just follow the Ocean through Wynyard town.
We stumbled across this cafe when doing a google search. My husband is picky for good coffee, and he wasnât disappointed coming here. The cafe has a great vibe- slightly hipster, contemporary menu, modern decor. We had the chia pudding and hash potato dishes, and both were flavoursome and delicious. My only criticism was the wait - from having our orders taken (a good 20 mins - eventually lined up and ordered rather than waiting on the table service), to getting our meals (another 30mins). And being a busy time, we sat at a table that a previous group had recently left, but their dirty plates werenât cleared for the duration of our stay. Other than that, enjoyable food and drink! The barista was friendly and staff were kind, despite being very busy.
