Dined here on the weekend with a small group (7 people) for a special occasion. We had made a reservation and arrived just prior to the time at 7pm.We were seated promptly and given menus, and drink orders taken. Drinks were delivered quickly but then there was quite a delay before someone returned to take our order (approx 30 minutes). There was another large group in the restaurant (approx 20 people) which seemed to take a lot of the attention. Other than this group there was only a couple of other tables occupied, so not a large number of diners. Our entrees eventually arrived between 30-40 minutes later, delivered separately over that period, so some people were almost finished eating before other dishes arrived. One of our group ordered natural oysters, but were delivered as Kilpatrick. When we questioned it we were told "that's what you ordered". We convinced them to take it back, but we were then told they had "run out of oysters" to deliver as ordered. We ended up having the Kilpatrick ones returned to eat out of frustration with the delay. The other starters were simple (garlic bread, bruschetta and salad) and were satisfactory. When it came tour main course, these were delivered almost an hour later, but once again were not delivered together. The Osso Bucco came first (which was tough and dry despite the sauce) and we were almost finished before the other dishes came. We had to follow up with the waitress for the other dishes and were told that she "couldn't control the order from the kitchen". The other dishes were salmon (extremely overcooked), fillet steak with red wine risotto (very stodgy), and steaks - which were OK and cooked appropriately to order. We complained to the head waitress when she collected out plates, and she even guessed the issue with the risotto before mentioning the problem - must have been commented on previously. The waitress brought out the chef the speak to us, and all we got was that our meals were delayed because ours was the last order in - not really our fault. This was not a pleasant experience, and although they acknowledged there had been issues by giving us a discount, we did not have any confidence that anything would change. I believe additional kitchen staff and more training on customer service would be very beneficial here.Dear Sir. Firstly we would like to apologise for our failure to make your dinning event special. We realise that when people attend a restaurant they wish to come away with a satisfied feeling and not upset, we are sorry your experience was less than satisfying. I was not aware of the issues presenting themselves at the time (I was only advised after your party left). The waitress advised me that the attitude from some of the people at your table to her was most demeaning and as a result she made a conscious effort not to attend to your table as often as she would normally, this of course only exasperated the situation. It was unfortunate I was unaware of the situation at the time so I could have resolved the issues in a timely manner. As a result we will implement procedures to avoid an occurrence of this again. As for your comments on the food quality we are sorry you and your party did not enjoy it. The timing of your meals was less than desirable and was caused by the party of 20 not arriving on time. They were booked for 6pm but did not all arrive and order until 7pm, the same time you arrived and of course this choked the kitchen.May I suggest you read the many other comments concerning our restaurant and our efforts to bring a satisfying dining experience to our customers. By reading them you will see your experience was out of character with the many satisfied comments we have received from previous customers. Your encounter with us is in no way a reflection on how our restaurant normally functions and we hope you will come again.

Our Bayview Bistro provides a fantastic dining experience for the whole family, delicious and affordable.
A Solo motorcycling trip to the Bay. Weather wasn't the best. My sister from a previous visit suggested I visit this fine establishment. What a great idea that turned out to be. Had the Fisherman's Basket and it was great. Mixture of hot and cold foods. The view was great and I left there, despite the rain, a very happy chappy.Thank you for your review Kim. We are glad you enjoyed your experience here and look forward to seeing you again soon.
Good breakfast deals before 10am Bacon and egg muffin with hash brown and drink for $5 And if you ask for the egg to be runny they can do that as well. Yummy!!!

Southern Californian style for a relaxed, fun and delicious experience with a great view of beautiful Jervis Bay. Eat Drink Love
There is a great variety of breakfast options and we chose dishes we wouldn't usually cook for ourselves at home. The Mexican bowl and the board special zuccini fritters and salad were both delicious. If you prefer a bigger plateful go for the massive brekky!!

Modern cafe in the heart of Huskisson serving beautiful food with using the freshest produce. Decadent house made desserts, gluten free bread, famous Nutmeg Hash and relishes.
Had a beautiful brunch with the family. Serves an all day breakfast as well as a lunch menu. Caters for all including gluten free and the tiny tots. Prices are good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Will come back again when we stay in Huskisson again

Gorgeous little spot with friendly service and great coffee. Nice selection of cakes and a lovely lunch menu. We secured a nice little spot in the sun for coffee and a chat. My favourite part about this cafe is simple. They do not offer straws unless requested. While most cafes are switching to paper straws, this cafe is eliminating them! Impressive.

It's always busy, but can't say I'm impressed. Bit of a wait for food so you would expect it to be hot when it's put down in front of you. Nope, lukewarm at best. And if you're sitting at a table chatting to friends and your coffee cup is empty and the food is gone, out comes the reserved sign on the table. Nothing like a less than subtle hint - if you're not buying anything more, then move on. Won't rush back.

Main street of Huskisson and partener to the Vincentia Stonegrill
It was a cold and wet evening but the restaurant was warm and welcoming. We decided to have the 3 course special, probably didnât need three courses but it was delicious. Each of the four of us chose different meals. Lovely piece of steak but more difficult to manage than the chicken skewers. The pasta salad was really nice.Weâll be back and next time Iâll have the prawns and then the skewers. The staff were amazing. BYO is the icing on the cake.
