Very large venue. Unfortunately the lady took an eternity to take our orders and then she forgot them and had to come out and retake them. Disrupts the dynamic when you spend half your time waiting in line to place an order.We are sorry to hear about your experience Oscar. Thank you for your feedback an we will attend to this matter.

The brief for our night out was somewhere with great food, not too noisy but ok for us to laugh out loud. Zev's met this criteria plus some! The waitress was exceptional. Understanding we were friends catching up and gave us space and time before talking us through the wine menu. Once our drinks arrived she then went through the food menu. We all settled on the Chefs Pick, 6 course tasting menu. The food was divine, from the fresh oysters with Rhubarb mignonette right through to the desserts. There was a discussion around the table at the end of which was our favorite dish... we couldn't agree. The beef tartare was perfect but so was the Lamb neck and don't forget the asparagus or the Tandoori Carrot. The flavors were unexpected but delicious. A chef with an imagination. Well done.Definitely a hidden gem right in the heart of Toowoomba and definitely a place we will return to on our visits to Toowoomba.

had the pleasure of seeing a show & having a meal at this ICON THEATRE THE COUNCIL SPENT A FORTUNE on restoring it & it shows pity had they torn it down we enjoyed our well presented meal drinks were fine not pricey & the show was a great comedy night thank you TOOWOOMBA.

We returned after a long absence for a 'special' dinner. We had made a booking (with several emails asking us to confirm). The staff were very friendly and accommodating.Our main took 40 mins to arrive , were informed that 'well done' takes a little longer, therefore needed more wine. The meal was well presented and enjoyable.Decided to share a dessert with coffee and ordered with another member of staff.Again, there was delay in the ariival, even though we could see the staff who would prepare it. We were informed the coffees would be complimentary.Very pleasant meal, but maybe attention required with the timings.

Always a great place to eat & drink...Safe to have any sort of function there, plenty of menu options, service great. The Tasting Place is Awesome, and always great, the Nuttty Chicken as a main is always Delicious, the only shame is no room for desert!!!What a great wonderful review Annette! It's true, we're not known for our small meals but at least you won't go home hungry at our place. We really appreciate your positive feedback and recommendations to others. I was expecting a tablecloth as this is supposed to be âfine diningâ. We arrived at 12.30 and there were fewer than a dozen people but we were told that the lunch special was already sold out. The wine list was decidedly expensive. The waitress was lovely. Not value for money.Thank you Helen for your review on 4th Sept. It is extremely unusual for our lunch special to be sold out by 12.30pm and I do apologize as it is always very popular.As for the 'fine dining' - nowhere on our website do we say we are a 'fine dining' establishment nor do we advertise as such. Our aim is to have happy staff serve wonderful food in a relaxed garden environment.

Went for lunch on a Thursday for a club outing - around 35 people. This is a great pub with lots of atmosphere. The service is friendly, relaxed and very efficient. They took all our orders individually and food was quickly served with surprisingly small wait time. Servings are enormous so make sure you take an appetite if you visit. Really good selection of food off a blackboard menu which is better than the usual pub fare. would definitely recommend for a lunch visit. strongly recommend a booking as this is a popular place to dine.

This place is amazing! Not only was the food was exquisite, presentation was artistic and to due for!They also cater for gluten and milk intolerance, which doesn't mean a dish with less things. We had the full culinary experience. Service was impeccable. Highly highly recommended!!
