My sister and husband, Tenterfield residents, discovered this gem! My cutlets were fantastic and the salmon was terrific. Add a five dollar beer and we went home happy!

Club itself looks a bit 'country rough' but the attached restaurant was a wonderful surprise - modern and with big windows opening up over the greens. Great service and lovely food - no surprise it was busy with locals as well as visitors. The Carbonari we had was the best ever.

A cafe serving freshly cooked food with blackboard specials. Located in the heart of Tenterfield. Open for breakfast and lunch 5 days.
I visited this beautiful coffee shop on the main street of Tenterfield and it is a must stop whilst in Tenterfield. Whether you are passing through or visiting for a while. Make sure to pop in and experience a tasty generous sized country meal and a professionally made coffee with a very friendly welcome by staff. The actual coffee shop itself is beautifully laid out and feels like your being hugged as you enter. The menu has a great range and is very accommodating. Definitely worth the visit!!.Thank you for your kind words Joel. Weâre so glad you enjoyed your visit to our cafe.

We visited this restaurant for our granddaughters birthday. All our dishes were plentiful & tasty. We ordered a birthday cake prior to the night with the kitchen & that was yummy. It met our expectations with what we ordered. Would certainly recommend & would definitely return. Thank you.

After a horrible cold camp at the Showground, having a hot buffet breakfast at Stannum House was wonderful. A beautifully set out dining room with cloth serviettes and a selection of eats for only $10. Could read all about the history of this grand old house on the place mats as we ate. Well done to the proprietors. Sri Lankan pastry was delicious too.

After a long day's driving we were exhausted and wanted a quick but good quality dinner. It was a VERY hot day; and the Tavern wasn't in our top 3 places of choice. 1st was booked out for a function, (no air con only fans), 2nd place had no air con and menu didn't appeal. 3rd place's menu didn't appeal and was very expensive. I wanted a salad and sleep as we'd been up and driving since 3.30am.So we went to the tavern which was very busy with a lot of families and groups. (Thursday night). I got the impression it was the pub of choice for the locals. First item on the menu was the Moroccan chicken salad which was exactly what I was after. My husband had the lamb cutlets with mash and vegs. Meals came out in around 15 minutes and were huge.I enjoyed my Moroccan chicken salad but it was more like the chicken was cooked in a sauce and served on the salad. So the salad was covered in a very spicy sauce, with only the outer edge of the salad free of the sauce.Thank heavens I always ask for the salad dressing on the side. You most certainly don't need it and I think the salad would have been ruined with even more dressing. The amount of chicken was very generous. The 3 lamb cutlets were delicious and my husband enjoyed his meal very much.

Leaving Glen Innes around 7am, when nothing seemed to be open for brekky, not even the bakery, we decided to go through to Tenterfield.A good decision as we stumbled on the Willow Cafe just opening around 8am.Absolutely fabulous bacon, mushrooms, tomato, poached eggs on sourdough X 2 & she said the coffee was the BEST!Locals piled in one after the other for coffee cakes etc. & that is a great indicator. My faith in some restaurants/cooks was restored after a terrible meal elsewhere, last night.

Our aim is to provide our guests with a warm and inviting venue for every occasion. We look forward to welcoming you to our bar, to become one of the family, and enjoy some fantastic locally produced food and wine.
Called into this little gem at suggestion of hotel proprietor and we were pleased we did. Very high quality food & coffee in this quaint little establishment.Highly recommended. Operates as a wine bar in evening which would be worth a visit. Customer service is excellent. Thank you John, your review is much appreciated. You'll have to come visit again for a wine next time.

The food at The Commercial is superb. Very impressive to say the least. Would have given 5/5 were it not for the service. Three young woman on duty in the lounge bar/dining area, none of whom appeared to want to be there. Management may like to address this issue. Regardless of this we would certainly return.

We were passing Tenterfield and stopped at Bohemian Tearoom for a coffee. It was a cold day but inside the tearoom was nicely heated from a traditional fireplace. Steve and Christine (hosts) were very friendly and helpful. We had lunch (all homemade cooking) as well and it was so fresh and delicious. This is a place not to miss if you are travelling around this areaAusiTraveller your words made us proud to read as you mentioned all that we strive for at our tearoom. We love sharing our passion with our customers and you all allow us to live this passion. We look towards your next visit and wish you all the best in your travels.
