Things to do in Tailem Bend
Great coffee served in an extra large mug. Food fresh and well presented. Good service with friendly staff. Quite plain decor with some room for improvements but that did not detract from all of the above.
Stopped in to grab takeaway lunch, fresh and tasty! I had potato âcurry puffâ pasty and a cannoli, highly recommend. The sandwiches looked good too

Been stopping here for fuel and a feed for years. It appears to have changed hands or at least different management. Last visit was a little disappointing. Previously table service but now you order at the counter. Used to have a free newspaper to peruse; not now.
We visited as a group while touring the region and Danii and Lee was so friendly and helpful that all 14 of us were impressed and wish them the best for the future.Their reasonably priced lasagna and other light meals were served with a smile and they did all they could to accommodate our needs. For a small business their range of food covers a wide range of dietary needs - gluten-free, vegan, dairy free, etc etcWELL DONE GIRLS! BEST LUCK FOR THE FUTURE!

Called in for lunch on our way to Adelaide. Avoided all the fast food outlets on the highway and drove into the town centre looking for somewhere to eat. Thought the pub was closed until we saw the small sandwich board advertising Lunch and Dinner. If the owner reads this review I suggest you get a bigger 'easy to read' sandwich board that gets in everyone's face as the food is great. Both my wife and I had roast dinners. The salads and vegetables available at the buffet were outstanding, and the chef made gluten free gravy for my wife who is a coeliac. I don't know how they do it for the price and it is a shame that so many people drive through the town and don't know it is there.

After reading all the great reviews we were excited to try this retro cafe. Decor was clever, place looked great. BUT the music was so loud that we couldnât hear each other across the table. Twice we asked for it to be turned down. We were the only customers in the cafe. We were told that it had to be heard from people walking by outside! They were not the paying customers! And then we ordered. We all ordered the same hamburger some with bbq sauce, some with tomato. Only one arrived with the correct sauce. Buns were not toasted, hence cold. Contents good. Incorrect coffee were deliver and not hot as requested. Can only think that the waitress, who was pleasant, could hear us over the music!!All 4 of us left feeling disappointed and that we had chosen the wrong lunch venue.
