Nice open area, good cafe food, attractive decor, recommend the burger, great fresh juices .Would be really a great cafe but beware it attracts a lot of Motherâs and their very noisy, small fretful children which cry and wail constantly -( witnessed one pulling plants from the pot and picking flowers while mum looked on!)

Several people have told me this is the place to go. Finally got my act together and went along with a few friends. The food and wine are first class. All staff are knowledgeable on where the food is sourced, how itâs been prepared and why the matching wine was selected. If your looking for that somewhere special to celebrate a special event or a just a lover of food, look no further.
This is the bistro at the Royal Hotel in Springwood with a new team running it (7 weeks). The chef has moved up here from working in hatted restaurants in Sydney and it is obvious from the standard of food that she offers. We have eaten here twice in the last week and have found our culinary home five minutes drive away - no more driving up or down the highway in search of quality when it is now on our doorstep.
So I will start by saying the food and value wasn't bad. And I suppose in the end. That's what it's about. But it's dirty, only takes cash and employs the underaged. I imagery here's a few dollars not seen by the tax man somewhere along both paths. Would I go back? Only if my normal one isn't open

Only one hour drive from Sydney or forty minutes drive from Katoomba, the Cafe is located in the natural bush land setting of the National Trust's Norman Lindsay Gallery and Museum. The licensed Cafe is casual Australian Dining with a la carte options and
If you love fresh local food don't go past this gem. Only went because of gallery which we didn't end up going to. Just stayed for brunch, avocado on breakfast was a very generous portion. Surcharge of 10% applied on Sunday's I believe. Thankyou for your review, Housemade, fresh, local, are all great words to describe our passion for food here at Lindsay's. We are so glad you could enjoy our beautiful bush spot here. We apply a surcharge on Sundays to allow us to pay ethical award rates to our reliable and friendly staff, bringing a great team together to bring our cafe to life. With thanks,The Lindsay's Team

Clean modern and fresh
This Cafe is in the old Oriental Hotel, nothing fancy, and is centrally located in Springwood. Our meals here were nice, nothing outstanding but very pleasant. Had a Bruschetta for lunch and the service was pleasant. Would happily return here, but not really one for foodies.

A relaxed family cafe located in Springwood. We cater for the entire family, by offering wholesome affordable meals.
This cafe has recently had a change of owner.. a lot of the same staff and wonderful warm features remain.. the menu has been tweaked and seems alittle more comprehensive, but slightly cheaper than before..We had two very tasty burgers and some amazing chips.. one coffee.. lovely outdoor seating on a beautiful day..

The atmosphere sitting in the passageway of the âOlde Bakery Arcadeâ in Springwood worked well. We could hear Carol singers and musicians and shoppers were bustling about enjoying the special late night Christmas Shopping experience hosted by the local businesses until the deluge of rain! This ONE OFF evening of dinning was to give patrons a taste of their homemade âCruelty Freeâ (vegan) menu. Homemade by Sarah and Lorraine. We were sitting comfortably and dry at the table to a starter of cheese, hummus, guacamole, antipasto and bread. The mains were amazing, too many to name as there was such a variety to choose from. Each dish was fresh and tasty and they also had Gluten Free choices as well. Desserts! What can I say? âYummmmm!â My favourite was the lemon cheesecake. Again a good variety of textures and flavours.Thank you girls (Fiona and Jenny also) and well done. You all worked very hard especially after a long, normal working day in the cafe. âIâll be back!â

On first impressions, I thought how cozy the Butternut was. My friends and I had to wait for a table, which was fine because it was lunchtime and it was good to get out of the cold. As we each looked at the menu, two of the lunchtime meals werenât available. It was only 1 pm and not overly busy at that time. For someone with special dietary needs for health reasons, the choices were limited. Our hot drinks were brought out quite promptly so I assumed that our lunch would follow. After waiting for almost half an hour once we ordered, the pie ($12) that my friend had requested had been microwaved and therefore the crust was very soggy and it wasnât that great. Just a soggy mess. Loads of baby spinach on the side. The soup of the day, Chicken and Corn, wasnât that hot so Iâm assuming it had been microwaved. Considering that it appears that food is microwaved, I have no idea why it took almost half an hour to be brought to our table. I can only imagine what Gordon Ramsay would say!

Welcome to The Bunker where you will experience a little bit of the Blue Mountains charm with a funky and modern cocktail bar twist. Here at The Bunker we are firm believers of sitting back and appreciating a beautiful glass of wine teamed with a deliciou
Coffee was great and the gluten free chocolate brownie cake with cream was the most generous serve we have experienced. Would thoroughly recommend it.
