Popped in here for lunch for the first time. There is a small car park outside the cafe, which is handy. Was shown to a table and ordered coffee. Menu is good with a range of salads burgers etc. I opted for the soft shell crab burger, which was good. The only negative was that my food arrived before my coffee, which had been ordered when I arrived. I think they were busy, though. Staff were friendly and apologetic for the wait for coffee and then the wait to pay.

Nice restaurant- very friendly staff. When you hear that itâs in dandenong you may be sceptical about it however it was great food. Quite pricey however. Kids meals were $16 and included a drink and ice cream. Burgers were $23 and came with chips. Very very yummy! It was very busy however not too loud.

Visited twice and found service to be erratic, with 1 missed meal and 1 wrong meal, long service time. The food however was good, large servings and tasty. Popular cafe with outdoor and indoor seating. Would go again next visit to Melbourne.
Well, there needs to be somewhere to eat when you visit the Springvale Botanical Cemetery, & kudos for getting the setting right & the atmosphere reasonable for such an awkward time. Sensible meals with variety at reasonable prices given you are a captive audience.

Conveniently located in the hub of suburban south-east Melbourne on the perimeter of Ladbrokes Park (Sandown Racecourse). Highways has something for everyone â from casual dining, a kids play zone and lounge areas, first-class function facilities and spor
A friend and I stopped her for drinks today after going to the Leisurefest nearby... it was a delightful place to enjoy time chatting to one another. The booths were intimate and gave us time to enjoy one anothers company. This establishment is quite large, we walked through a large gaming room that was very busy to find the bar and we left passing a smoking area. If you want somewhere to enjoy time in the middle of the afternoon... this place is for you. The tables weren't cleared in a timely manner, but I just moved the glasses off the table I wanted. I actually looked through all of their booths and all of them had not been cleared even though at the time... no-one was using one. There is plenty of parking and it's an easy location to find.
This Red Rooster has ample parking and a drive in section. The staff member - a female - was courteous and efficient. My order arrived promptly without sauce, as I had requested. the chicken burger was tasty while what this chain says is its 'famous chips' were good as is mostly the case. The restaurant and its toilets were clean. Strangely the area near the ordering point had a large amount of unused space - a table or two here with chairs would not clutter it, but improve the look a bit. There was a steady stream of diners even though it was only 1155 in the morning, a bit early for many residents or travellers' lunch. The Red Rooster loyalty card works extremely well and properly records my purchases.
A hidden gem in Springvale Road and not too far from the station and you guessed it, Desserts by Night opens till quite late. They served various eye pleasing Instaworthy desserts and tastes great too. Spacious food and plenty of tables designed for customers to hangout and perfect spot for us for catching up with friends till late. Oh and they also have Taro Latte ($ 3.40) - plus point for me! We tried their Belgian Waffle ($15) 3 pieces of waffles topped with fresh berries, oreo crumbs, fudge sauce, chantilly cream, waffle cone and vanilla bean ice cream. Beautifully plated and I love their fudge sauce - very chocolatey without being overly sweet and their waffles just fluffy and have a golden brown outer just right crispiness. Can't complain.Warm Coconut Sago Pudding ($14) with fresh mango, lychee, pearls, coconut jelly and coconut ice cream (GF, H). It is a rather interesting hot and cold combo but it surprisingly works quite well. I enjoyed their sago with rather thick texture. The sweetness of the sago was balanced really well with fruity tastes from the mango and lychee and I also like the pearls and coconut jelly adding various of textures in the dish.Yay: Delicious desserts and open till late with spacious place? Hell yeah.Nay: N/ATaste: 4.0Price: 3.5Speed: 3.5Service: 4.0
Busy cafe, but staff would walk out coffees to people and fail to notice that every single available table (about 10) had food and mess and dishes left on it from the people before. They would walk back with nothing in their hands and leave their customers to clean up the mess for them. Really poor presentation.
can't think of anything too criticise at this place. good value meals that will leave you satisfied. well done too everyone involved

We have two restaurants at our venue; Dawson's Bistro LUNCH- From 11.30am / DINNER- From 5.30pm Trackside Noodle Bar 7 Days a week 12.00pm - till late
Another visit to Greyhounds with friends. The meals were delicious, beef rinds, wedges and coleslaw. Mine was land back strap with sweet potato mash, asparagus, broccoli and snow peas, absolutely delightful. Friends had fish which they said was very good also. My only complaint always is that you cannot split the bill. This makes it difficult when there are two or more couples, paying their own way.
