Had the buffet dinner. Huge selection of everything. Must commend my servers Nobu & Claire, very attentive and extremely nice and polite. Anything I asked for was done immediately with a smile. Claire also offered me a lot of advice for my travels in Australia. There is a new flavour in town! Award winning restaurant Vanitas at Palazzo Versace Gold Coast has recently undergone an extensive make over including a new chef, new kitchen and a brand new Italian focused menu that compliments the Italian heritage of it
We celebrated our fiftieth wedding anniversary here and we werenât disappointed, both of us chose the degustation, one six courses, myself four courses. Both my husband and I have eaten in hatted restaurants before and been disappointed, but not this time. The scallop with smoked eggplant sauce ( sorry chef my terminology not doing justice to your food) was incredible, the burst of flavours teased the taste buds, the presentation second to none. We love the Versace China used throughout this hotel, an added bonus. Part two was crab ravioli in an abalone broth and squid ink tulle, a work of art and amazing in flavour.Part three was duck breast with foi gras, duck liver and other little titbits that my taste buds remember but sadly my brain forgets.Sorbet and a beautiful hazelnut confection brought this experience to a close, the accompanying wines superb in choice, Vermentino, Pinot Grigio, Chianti and of course a little sticky one to finish. Excellent coffee and petit fours ,excellent service, well done to the chef, his staff, the wait staff, maître d, and Palazzo Versace, a truly memorable occasion with a truly memorable dinner. Thank you. We can highly recommend this amazing restaurant.

Fabulous hidden secret behind Scarborough Street. Great food, service and price point compared to my breakfast at Surfers Paradise the previous day. Home made bread. Eggs cooked to order and amazing mushrooms. Coffee of a high standard. Professional outfit with enough staff to cater for walk ins at short notice. Worth a re visit.

Fabulous setting, great friendly staff good wine list and excellent food. We only wanted a light lunch so shared a dozen large and succulent oysters and a rack of pork ribs. Sat right on the marina with great views and a really great atmosphere. We will definitely revisit when in the Gold Coast, can highly recommend.

Enjoyed a good night out with friends. We all enjoyed our meals. Great presentation, good service, nice location. All our meals cooked to perfection. Only complaint was the use of supermarket frozen chips. They should be made in house. Also using rice as a filler on prawn entrees. A little cheap. Other than this a very enjoyable dinner. Recommend a visit when on the Gold Coast

Nice place for breakfast. Very busy cafe and unfortunately I had to wait for quite a while to pay for my food. Otherwise great.

A lively oceanfront lounge, inspired by the L.A. lifestyle. Incredible beach views, over-size cocktails, signature sgroppinos, mouthwatering Mediterranean food and DJ soirees on weekends. Already an icon in L.A, Vegas & Miami. Hydeâs first Australia locat
I had lunch here, selection of 5 tapas. The spanakopita was fine, but the other 4 were so bad (chicken skewers dry and no flavour, arancini awful, kofta were oily and fell apart, squid was overcooked, had no taste and extremely oily. Worst squid I've ever eaten). 4 of the dishes were for some reason served with garlic aioli which didn't complement anything and just made it all feel even more oily and sickly.Hi there,Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review and we apologise as it seems we missed the mark on this occasion. Please be rest assured that this feedback has made it's way through the management team and we are working with the Hyde kitchen crew to ensure that we are constantly improving our offering.Once again, we apologise that you have had a negative experience with us and we hope we can have the opportunity to welcome you back again soon. Thanks so much,Rachel from the Hyde Paradiso Crew
