A very good experience indeed. Went here to celebrate our friends birthday after we went to Universal Studio. We were welcome and assisted by Chester. He even recommend us what food to order since its our first time in this restaurant. I ordered Rib eye and it was superb and perfectly cooked. Very tender and the quality is very good. So tasty!Service was excellent. Chester was very helpful, cordial, funny and happy to go beyond. We had a very good time in this restaurant. Dear viclaluna,I have shared your comments with the team and they are certainly pleased to see their efforts are so well appreciated! Especially Chester felt amused about your special recognition regarding his recommendation, appearance and his great service delivery. We greatly appreciate your kind feedback and hope to welcome you back to OSIA in the near future for another memorable experience.your OSIA - Team

Came here for lunch with a business partner. The entire Boon Tat Street is dotted with restaurants so competition must be keen. Lunch hour is usually quite packed and considering that Cheek has only a la carte for lunch (no sets), the price will be higher than its neighbours that have set lunches (ex. Fyr, which is just next door). For context, Cheek is a casual bistro and it replaced the 1 Michelin star Cheek by Jowl - which was more on the fine dining side. I prefer the casualness of Cheek and the food remains excellent. We had the smoked mackerels as starters - simply sublime combination of taste. The mains - Barramundi and Iberico Pork Chop were brilliantly executed. Both came with decent portions of salad so it is not necessary to order sides, though we ordered a salad too. The dessert - yoghurt and yozu were like a yin yang of taste but they complemented each other really well. You come to Cheek for quality food - its more expensive than its neighbours but worth the price for some occasional indulgence.
