There's only 2 places you can get pizza on the peninsula. This pizza fits the bill when I don't want to make my own. Prices are reasonable and service pleasant.

With huge picture windows, this bright waterfront restaurant offers casual dining, featuring true tastes of Tasmania all food made in house.
Love this place! Great food, great food choices, great chefs that look after you, great views. Would definitely recommend as a top spot to take in dinner.

Customer service severely lacking. What a shame especially on a tourist routeAnd the entrance to port arthur
Just ten minutes from Port Arthur, this is a relaxed and friendly meeting, eating and drinking space for locals, ecovillage residents and visitors to the Tasman Peninsula. Enjoy a drink or a meal on our beautiful deck overlooking Parsons Bay or in our rec
The community kitchen concept adopted by this cafe is a credit to this place, people working here have a vested interest and do a great job! The meals are made from locally grown and sourced produce, by a chef with a creative mind and interest in food. Loved our meals and the place. It may look a little tired from the outside but this place is definitely worth a visit!Thank you for the lovely review Sylvia :) Hopefully it looks less tired now that we have re-painted the deck!

Didnât have a choice about this restaurant as it was the only one in the area. No real atmosphere, staff not really bothered. Food was nice, I had a salad and my husband had steak and chips. All good. Beer nice and cold.

"Gabriel's on the Bay" at Stewarts Bay Lodge is a fully licensed restaurant and is Port Arthur's only waterfront restaurant. Its delicious cuisine includes fresh local seafood, Tasmanian Steaks and quality produce complemented by a specially selected Tasm
We arrived for dinner to be rudely rushed by the waitress several times when we hadnât decided what we were eating. We understood that they were fully booked and there would be people needing the table we had booked after us, but we also wanted to enjoy our evening of eating, drinking and relaxing. After ordering our entree dishes, they were on our table in 6 minutes, which was fine, however the oysters I had ordered were stone cold in the centre and had to be sent back (I guess thatâs what happens when they try to rush people through). My porterhouse steak arrived âmedium-rareâ however I believe the chef forgot to account for cooking time on the bone and it was sent out rare/blue which was extremely disappointing given the $54 price. The desert was rather pleasant and my partner and I both enjoyed that. Unfortunately the majority of our experience was disappointing and we would not recommend this place for service or food in the future.

1830 Restaurant & Bar is located in the Visitor Centre at Port Arthur Historic Site. 1830 offers visitors and locals sweeping views of the Penitentiary, gardens and grounds and is a perfect place to enjoy a long, relaxed meal with friends. Our team has cr
Came for dinner here with my daughter before our ghost tour. The entreeâs were excellent- octopus and quail- quail was the winner of the two. Then mains -we had the mushroom risotto- very good and a large serving, and the salmon. Salmon was a little small. We had sticky date pudding for dessert which was also excellent. However the prices are top end fine dining prices and the food and service just donât match up to these prices. There was not enough waitstaff on so had to wait for water refills and our beverages were very slow to come out. Thank you for dining at 1830 Restaurant, theresa407, and we appreciate your feedback. Our management continue to monitor booking and staffing numbers, and we apologise that the service on the night did not meet your expectations. We do hope to welcome you back.Kind regardsthe 1830 Restaurant & Bar team
