My husband & I stopped by for a coffee (12 Jan) and were served reasonably promptly. The cafe was not overly busy and we selected a table with beautiful views across to the ocean and waited for our coffees. We waited and waited some more. A waitress came by with 2 coffees in takeaway cups and asked if they were what we had ordered. We told her they were not and explained our order again. We then waited and waited. Some time later, the same waitress came by and we enquired about our coffees. We waited again and decided to give them another 10mins. But this time we had been there for over 1/2hr. The time passed and we decided to ask for our money back. We then noticed what appeared to be our coffees just being made. The barista (we assume he is the owner) asked if there was a problem. We said that we had waited a long time and weâre about to ask for a refund but we could see that our coffees had just been made. There was no apology and he gruffly replied âitâs holiday time, you knowâ. It would seem to us that there is a lack of organisational skills. (We saw the barista unpacking boxes as we were leaving.) The waiting staff are untrained. (We saw them taking drinks and food out to the same table one at a time). We would suggest the owner hires a barista to stay at the coffee machine, train his waiting staff and to wait on tables himself. The views were great.

Experience our expansive rooftop lined with sun beds, umbrellas, private lounge spaces, a bar-and-grill and spectacular suspended pool, providing the ideal coastal getaway. The Rooftop's menu is inspired by Mediterranean, Southern Californian and Mexican
I liked everything about this place, - modern, sparkling, vibrant but I especially liked the innovative menu. I like things that I couldn't be bothered making at home, which taste good. All this did.Thank you TheDoor_isopen for recent review. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your experience and very much look forward to seeing you again in the near future. I shall pass on your kind words to the rooftop teamKind Regards,Paul GoodenoughBANNISTERS HOTELSBannisters by the Sea | Bannisters PavilionP 02 4455 3044E [email protected] Response

There is nothing like a long lunch surrounded by green rolling hills, blue skies and great service. Or a special dinner for two, or four, or twelve, or more, featuring great food, great wine and great conversation. Our award-winning Cupitt's Kitchen offer
When ever my husband and I are staying in the area, we always make time to get to Cupitts. The food is always delicious and the wine is even better. The atmosphere and setting is relaxed and the sunset never disappoints whilst setting over the valley. We enjoyed sitting on the deck with a drink or two before our dinner reservation. The 3 course meal with the paired wines is always enjoyable and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommend and I am forever telling my friends and family about this wonderful place. What a wonderful review! Thank you so kindly for your frequent visits and taking the time to pass on this feedback. We are very pleased you find us good value and you get the chance to take time out to enjoy the sunset. It is pretty spectacular; especially in autumn. We hope to welcome you back soon.

Stayed at Bannisters Pavillon , and decided to try Tallwood for the first time . We were not disappointed. Food quality was good and imaginative . Wine list was fine , not the best but acceptable. Oysters and Raw fish were very good as was the beef cheeks, washed down with some Very passable Uco valley Malbec .

Also the Porkbelly, had no crust und was pre-cooked and warmed up as well.Service was very friendly but no quality food for the price they charging.

Vanessa & Anatolij continue to amaze. For starters on arrival you receive a complimentary Sherry to enjoy as you mull over their extensive a-l-carte menu. Anatolij then prepares your selection to perfection followed by excellent customer focus staff led by Vanessa. It is also BYO. Highly recommended, but book well in advance as this restaurant is very popular.

We left Mollymook to go somewhere nearby and after experiencing some terrible establishments in Mollymook and Ulladulla. We thought another suburb would be a good change of scenery.Going through GPS we took a more direct route from Mollymook and found ourselves following the blind where we saw cars driving into a secluded parking lot.Not knowing what to expect we noticed this establishment close to the edges of the car park. Now the only reason why I didn't give this place a much deserved 5 star rating were boiled down to several reasons.1. The food is expensive especially for $22 price tag for the Breakfast Board. 2. The seating arrangement is poor3. Lots of flies and insects made it pointless to sit inside despite the air conditioning running.4. Despite replacing an unwanted ingredient, they charged extra for replacing the ingredient... not impressed based on this.Howver, the flat white coffees were fantastic and overall quality of the food is interesting despite the expensive Breakfast Board and the Zucchini & Potato Rosti.

Our second visit to the Milk Hous. Was looking foward to something a bit different to tempt the brunch taste buds. We both chose the crispy zucchini pancake with fried egg, mango and asian salad. Pancake turned out not so crispy, just downright soggy with very little flavour and a fried egg on top. Asian salad was a bunch of greens, red cabbage and dressing, with three small cubes of unripe mango on the side. Milk hous you certainly didn't deliver this time. Wasn't worth the money nor the hour journey to get there.
