In the skillful hands of Bethany Finn, the culinary team have revived classic hotel cuisine. A sumptuous buffet breakfast, lunch (weekdays) and dinner is offered to both the general public and guests. Plus a wonderful High Tea experience is offered from 2
We attended the 2019 Gentlemen's High Tea on Father's Day in the Mayflower Restaurant. Words cannot describe the vision that was the buffet of sweets, cheeses, meats, fruits and assorted treats......the High Tea Table Service was impeccable, the staff, as always polite, helpful, maintaining a presence without being too much. The food was exquisite and the take home gifts for Dads were a nice touch. We had a lovely time and as we have eaten in both the Mayflower and Den Restaurants previously, we do not hesitate in recommending this establishment for a special outing.Dear Tina,Thank you so much for your kind words, I'm very pleased to read you had an all round wonderful experience. We have had many positive comments around this years Fathers Day Gentlemen's High tea so I thank you for taking the time to write and share yours.I do hope you are able to dine with us again soon. The Gallery boasts the largest rooftop garden in Adelaide, featuring ever changing art exhibitions it is the perfect place to relax with a drink or have a meal looking out over Waymouth St.
We held our annual corporate event at The Gallery and we could not be happier with the service we received. Our event co-ordinators Alex and James were so attentive and accommodating, and assisted us with organising the event right through to overseeing all of the fine details on the night. The food was superb and the wait staff very polite and friendly. Cannot recommend this venue enough for your next event!

Specialising in wood-grilled steak and seafood - salads, share plates, tasting menu option - reservations taken upstairs, walk-ins welcome.
This is the second review I have completed a review on Press - but I thought it was worth adding my thoughts on the Feed Me Menu ($75pp) which I really enjoyed on my recent visit. A work colleague suggested I try it for my birthday - and yes its amazing. Great food and plenty of it. Service is good. I noticed that on the night we visited it there was 8 staff serving and approximately 20 diners. Great service!! I would highly recommend!

The award-winning Playford Restaurant offers innovative world-class cuisine. Open for breakfast and for dinner, through professional yet unobtrusive service our aim is to deliver a highly personalised guest experience in keeping with the hotel's philosoph
We were staying at a different hotel but could not resist the breakfast here, in fact we ate there three times. The food is exceptional and fresh , locally sourced. Interestingly there is a herb garden on the rooftop of The Playford . We were well looked after by the professional staff particularly Capri. Without any doubt she offered true hospitality. She is an absolute asset , seamlessly doing her job and making each guest feel important. Our breakfast consisted of fresh fruits , yoghurts, Bircher meusli and pastries , various hot food and of course barista coffee ( which was a little extra). Definitely we will be returning to this hotel which has incredible European designed decor . You can imagine you are in Parisian city or similar.

Fresh, Simple, Delicious food in Adelaide's West End
We had a meal before a show recently, it was a Friday night so the place was very busy. The welcome and the service in general was excellent, leaving nothing wanting. The menu was interesting and frankly, made choosing difficult - always a nice problem! The wine list was slightly obscure, which is OK to a point, but there was certainly good variety here too.The food was simply stunning and it isnât difficult to see why Peel Street has the reputation that it has.Well worth a visit, and we look forward to returning.

We came here for dinner with a work group of about 14 people and had the banquet. We had a couple of gluten free people and they were well catered for. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and efficient. I had trouble finding the restaurant as Google told me that it was across the road and nobody who I asked had heard of it - so make sure that you are looking for number 132!

Georges on Waymouth was established by George & Voula Kasimatis in November 2002, with the aim of serving fresh seasonal produce with impeccable service in a classic European setting. In the heart of Adelaide's CBD, Georges on Waymouth is an undeniable cro
As can be discerned from the title, I was less than overwhelmed by George, but nothing was amiss. It was a quiet Thursday. I had the anti pasti, Rather too much for one, the arancini was good and freshly cooked, the fish was also good but the rest was standard stuff. Nice olives. The duck orzo main was also substantial and was tasty, plenty of duck and a good selection of veg, the pickled small onions were a bit overpowering. I had wine by the glass. The riesling was good but the cabernet sauvignon from Coonawara was outstanding. It does have some sediment, suprising for a 2016 wine. Service was good.

A quirky garden cafe & bar in the Adelaide CBD, specialising in coffee, food & South Australian liquor.
I was looking forward to breakfast from the moment I stumbled across the recommendation online. Peter Rabbitâs, rightly so, is decorated accordingly, placing you in a cafe designed like a garden shed. The staff were friendly, the food and coffee outstanding! I had the pineapple and strawberry juice (yum!) and the French toast (oh my goodness...next level). The coffee was strong and well made, and I have never seen so many varieties of latte in my life...we were very impressed! Located near the university it appears to get quite busy, but the service was quick. There is also a converted vintage caravan out the front of the property functioning as a takeaway coffee stop. I canât recommend it enough, and I will definitely be returning before I leave Adelaide.

Welcome to The Messy Tomato. Much of Italian life revolves around the family dinner table. Itâs well known that Italians are deeply versed in the gioie della tavola, or âthe joys of the table.â Perhaps the first thing people think of when they think of It
Found this little gem on TripAdvisor. From the start we knew it was a winner. Funky takes on brekkie, the flavours were fresh and different to what you would normally see but truly delicious. The coffee was great and the service spot on. We even got some recommendations based on local knowledge. And the Central Markets are worth a visit
