Would highly recommend Polina's, Great coffee and food. Friendly staff. Pet and child friendly. BEST COFFEE IN TOWN
Nice and friends looks can be deceiving but honestly it's good that these old style bakeries still exist in this world of chain stores with a philosophy.I actually don't eat the kind of food sold but a family member seems to find it good. Service is decent but more country town young ladies don't seem to have the attitude you find in people of the same age in the more city driven stores. Overall nice place just a little old bakery much like I remember, worth a visit. But for god sake please put some trading hours up. Saturday's open at 7am
Cravin' Cafe and Burger Bar is a family run Café with a reputation for flavour filled quality food made to order, value for money and friendly service. We are situated in the Caltex complex on Northcote Street, Kurri Kurri, NSW.
My partner and I grabbed a couple of breakfast burgers from here a little while back, I stuck to the standard Bacon and Egg burger while my Partner ordered the Double Bacon and Egg. The menu is quiet extensive and they offer options for ginormous burgers and dishes alike. Our burgers were tasty and I had a little chat to the lady that was serving me, she was friendly and easy going. Next time we order we will bring our nearly 14 year old son as heâll be over the moon with the sheer size of the burgers.
We like Red Rooster BBQ Chicken as they use Lily Dale Chickens & these taste the best! The gravy is nice & the choices are pretty good with some decent family deals for the prices.

Family dinner at Kookaburra's in the Kurri Club. Two families - 5 adults lots of kids ages 2 to 14.Restaurant was clean with standard set out. There are 2 play spaces for kids - one indoor one outdoor, the kids enjoyed these.Staff were polite and seemed quick to clean up after us.Meals ranged from fair to good. The kids calamari meal was ok, others had Pizza's and chips which were club standard - nothing special but edible.2 of us had the T-Bone from the "special's board" never again, they were bad pieces of meat - very tough and excessively sinewy. If I had them at home I would have classed them as dog scraps.Other meals were ok - crumbed cutlets with vegetables, scotch fillet with vegetables and extras. We will come back and try again, however we will be cautious about our orders.

Angelâs Place is a small cafe in the Information Centre. Very limited menu of mostly melts, bruschetta and pancakes. Strangely, the coffees were probably the hottest coffees that Iâve ever been served. Cutlery could have been much cleaner. The breakfast bruschetta was just a bread roll on a plate with a separate bowl of avocado, diced tomato and a little feta. 2.5% surcharge for credit card. Food was expensive and not that interesting.

Cafe Manuela is delivering a touch of class bringing together the perfect combination of high quality food at an affordable price, run by a team with extensive knowledge of the hunter valley food scene, with a menu for all palettes and a local boutique wi
Visited Cafe Manuela for Sunday lunch. Warm friendly greeting and atmosphere. We both ordered the crispy skin salmon. When the meals arrived there was no crispy skin, actually there was no skin at all. We bought this to the attention of the wait staff and advised we ordered the dish for the crispy skin. We asked the staff member to speak to the chef. When paying the bill we asked what the chefâs response was, we were told he asked were we cranky. Is it so hard for a chef to cook to the menu. Iâm sure if the owner knew they would also be cranky.
