FLOW Bar is a family friendly cafe/bar/live music venue located 100m from the beach in the gorgeous coastal village of Old Bar. A perfect place to soak in the sun, catch up with family and friends while enjoying a coffee, scrumptious breakfast, lazy lunch
Come here this morning, food and coffee was great, but the service was crap, I think they all took their sad face pills. No vibe, no talking amongst staff, no fun. There was heaps of staff, but no table service, no one even bought water to the table, they all just stood around motionless. Great looking hip place though, with some vibrant staff this would be an awesome 5 star place

Business hours are: Thursday from 10:00am-2:00pm and Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 10:00am-4:00pm. We are closed on all Public Holidays.
A relaxing venue for lunch or coffee on the Pacific Highway. Although the cafe was busy our large group was well looked after with prompt service. There are plenty of tables to choose from inside and outside, which is a bonus. The spicy fish stack was perfect for lunch and I enjoyed the coffee.

We have been repeat customers for many years now. The quaint old pub is well kept for its age. The staff are friendly and service is excellent. The food choices are great, favourite being the Creamy Garlic Prawns. However, over time have noticed the servings have gotten smaller and smaller. Know the price of seafoods fluctuates but, a main dish with minimal rice swimming in a nice cream sauce and 6 prawns with a few yes a few vege pieces left us feeling still hungry and disappointed. Are now having second thoughts about continuing patronage which is a real shame as we noticed the day we were there that there were only 3 other tables with lunch customers.Hopefully, management will look at the servings on offer with a view to improvement in future.
At the "Manning Point Bowling Club's" bistro, I had the most amazing, huge, juicy chicken schnitzel, encased in gorgeous parmesan and herb home made crumbing. I have NEVER had anything as good and all for $18. Evidently the steak special (2 for $24) was fantastic too. This lucky club has scored itself a top knotch chef!!!!!The restaurant opens at 5.30pm, Wed. to Sun. (despite the old club sign out front) and all meals are under $20. (Ignore the menu on the old web site.)Restaurant staff were lovely but two other club staff members were abrupt. This bistro IS REALLY SPECIAL!!!!!

Decided to revisit this little restaurant & bar on the river after a long absence, as the title suggests it was a lonely lunch as we were the only customers. Service was prompt,as it should have been, and the food only average. The providence of glass of house white was not stated.
Have to credit this small business - the cakes were just amazing. Enjoyed a brunch - the potato pies were perfectly flavoursome and the fillings top quality ... pastry perfect. But the icing on the cake were the cream filled cakes and the fruit slices - hard to pass up and the temptations many with the range. Perfect stop for cake and coffee! Just yum!

This place has a spacious restaurant and dining area and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. They had a good choice of meals at reasonable prices. The kids meals were basically the usual that they have at most clubs and pubs and it was adequate in size. I had the vegetarian pizza and it was absolutely delicious. I am so glad that I chose to share it with my husband as it was a substantial size and we even had a couple of pieces left over for lunch. They didn't scrimp on their toppings either. One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. Overall a lovely place and I would definitely visit here again.

We were recommended by a local to stop into Nateâs for a light lunch. It certainly was worth while. The pasta was simple with fresh flavoursome ingredients. My wife had a pizza and ate the lot (which is rare). A small but friendly little restaurant well worth dropping into if you want something different to club or pub food.Hi Bruce, thank you so much for such a kind review. We really do appreciate it! Hope will we see you again :)

It was such a wonderful warm winters day so after going for a walk along the break wall we dropped into the Harrington Hotel for lunch. They have quite an extensive menu as well as a daily specials board. My husband and I both decided to have the Roast Pork with roast Vegetables. We sat outside in the warm sunshine and watched the pelicans fishing in channel in front of the hotel. The meals were nicely presented and quite large and tasted great. For $12 it was very good value.
