I went here recently when visiting Tassie and made sure I fitted in two more visits before leaving as the coffee was so good! Highly recommend the food as well.

Small breakfast spot with one chef under the pump with the whole restaurant watching. Plate after plate of delicious food was being delivered, and while there is a bit of wait (to be expected), it certainly delivered on expectations. I had the pudding while my partner had the tartine, both delicious. Highly recommend, just don't expect a quick in and out breakfast and coffee.

Had drinks here after visiting the Museum. Wonderfully relaxing, just chilling on the comfy couches with a wine, enjoying the beautiful water & sky views from the floor to ceiling windows. This cafe stays open after MONA shuts so is a great place to rest the feet after wandering the museum for a few hours.

Relaxed shared table space, authentic Italian wood fired pizza, wine, beer & dessert. Bookings are not excepted, walk in only. Children welcome. Vegan and gluten free options available. Fully licensed, no BYO.
Local Pizza do some of the best pizza in the state, and having a rotating 'weekly special' means there's always something new and exciting to try. Location is around 20 minutes drive out of the city and they still manage to be packed every night i've been there. Definitely worth a look!

If you are waiting for the ferry and have at least half an hour to spare do pop into this lovely cafe. Over-priced of course but service is friendly and efficient, the coffee aromatic and the cakes quite fancy. I enjoyed the blood orange cheesecake at $8. You get cubes of brown sugar and a view of the sea with dear little seabirds with yellow beaks hopping on the grass outside. They do provide soy milk so vegans can have their drink without worry

Right on the beach at Cornelian Bay, the Boat House occupies one of the most beautiful settings in Hobart, 5 km north of the CBD. Fabulous water views with the Tasman bridge as a backdrop, the Boat House is the perfect location for family outings to the a
First time dining here in the evening, only ever done lunch at this establishment. We went to this beautiful warm, welcoming place for a meal with my partner tonight and it did not disappoint.Overlooking the beautiful stars and full moon against the Tasman bridge and the citylights of the Eastern shore and not a breath of wind...so peaceful and calm.Great wine list, beautiful entrée - Charcuterie board, then mains of pink ling and cox rubbed filet steak was perfectly delicious. Thanks to the lovely young waitress who was fabulous and made our evening perfect. Can't wait to go back.

Whisk & Co Cafe in Lenah Valley offers it's take on modern Australian cuisine, serving up gourmet food all day and playing host to the Whisk & Co Burger Bar 5pm til 9pm, Wednesday till Saturday nights.
I have to say we are now regular visitors travelling over 30kms for breakfast. Superb coffee and fantastic breakfast meals that are not only generous but are fantastically presented and beautiful tasting. Staff are friendly and efficient. Very highly recommended. I cannot think of anywhere that I have had a better breakfast. Would recommend booking as it can be pretty busy.

Relax and fill up on seasonal treats, share plates, and house-made breads and pastries before or after delving down into the museumâs underworld. Sit inside or out, on the patio, or catch the sun on the grassâMoorilla or Moo Brew in-hand. You can also pee
I loved my jaffle that I ordered. I would have loved for there to be more menu options, but the jaffle and the wine were great

It was not that many years ago that you could not find an upmarket restaurant in Moonah but St Albiâs has certainly changed that. Bruny Island beers and duck fat potatoes are a highlight of any visit to St Albisâs in Moonah - no matter what main course you choose. The atmosphere is great although it can get noisy.

The Source Restaurant takes its name from the John Olsen painting that hangs in the ceiling of the foyer. Its focus is on local seasonal produce, presented according to the whim of head chef Terry Clark and his team. Shared plates, fresh, uncomplicated fo
Something is missing. Canât put my finger on it. Great space a bit too safe maybe? Lacks bacchanalian promise. Food ok but not compelling. Service friendly enough.
