Called in for a quick meal after the gym. The Works burger was on special for $8.90. It was a great classic tasty burger, fresh bread and salad, with beetroot, bacon, cheese and tasty beef patty. A new favourite!

All meals cooked well. Seafood basket was huge came with chips & a lovely salad. The T bone steak cooked to my liking very tasty accompanied with lovely Veges. Yummy cold beer on tap too. Highly recommended

We met up with dear friends from the Allym River and Monkarai here...and loved the experience! I cam really recommend the Boydell's Rose from East Gresford. What a wine! I loved it so much that I ordered two bottles!The risotto with truffle oil that I had as my main was superb. Very sophisticated and probably the best risotto I have had for years! The starter garlic bread was excellent as well. I know our guests loved the lamb burgers, prawn entrees and bangers and mash alongside other dishes. I hope, like MacArthur, that I shall return!

We enjoyed a variety of pastas and one pizza and all enjoyed the food. Portions generous and a good selection of drinks including a great milkshake enjoyed by the driver.Service had personality. As we are locals we will be back.

We love this cafe on Dungogs Main Street. Coffee is always good but the homemade cakes are awesome. Table service is very good. Recommended for a visit after a nice Sunday drive in the country.

We dropped in to check out The Long Room Cafe having tried several other venues in the town. I am glad we did!! For lunch I had a curry pie with sauce and a cappuccino. The curry pie had lovely soft, thin, flaky pastry and the filling was genuine meaty curried meat, well seasoned and properly cooked!! It was quite large too and I left fully sated. The cappuccino was the best I have had in Dungog so far, being hot, creamy and strong! I am glad we tried this cafe and will definitely be dropping in again!! The service was first rate with excellent, chatty, cheerful staff eager to take your order and organise a table for you. Drop in some time and see for yourself. You will leave well fed, happy and smiling!

Tinshed Brewery is a microbrewery producing great craft beer onsite in the heart of Dungog. The brewery has a small kitchen turning out an ever changing menu of great tasting burgers. It's a relaxed place that is a must do when in Dungog.

The beer, which is brewed on the premises was fabulous. The food was tasty with large portions. I had the burger and struggled to finish it but it was so tasty I did finish it.
