I rate my âstarsâ along the lines of âwas it what I expected?â, not, âis it a five star restaurant?â. Hiroko is just starting up but a breath of fresh air and shows great beginnings. It is not by any means a sushi bar with heaps of seafood choice, but is as it claims, âJapanese comfort foodâ. Think juicy fried chicken in what seemed to be panko crumbs, or California sushi roles. But NOT burgers and chips. Restaurants on the south coast always have issues getting good seafood at sound prices, and I commend this cafe only going with a limited but quality choice- unlike others who try to pass off âcooking gradeâ seafood as sashimi with woeful results. Hirokoâs does not pretend to be what it isnât!The menu is not extensive but it is cheap and good!Hiroko also has Japanese dumplings and noodle-soups, all made and presented with solid, sound quality and cleanliness. There are a few âwesternâ dishes for those who want them too.It is a small venue, and in the tourist seasons, I would advise getting in early! It is also family friendly, but large tables will not be possible without rearranging furniture! I believe they also do takeaway. All in all a great start. Some usual ordering issues for a startup when theyâre under the pump, but friendly service with a smile and what you get is what you expect; good quality food with a Japanese focus.

Breathtaking location to enjoy lunch overlooking the vineyards, inside our tudor manor or outside in the fully covered alfresco area, house-made wood fire pizza and grazing boards; stay in our luxury accommodation or enjoy the award-winning Castelli Estat
We were blown away by the stunning views here. The food was equally as good with the Grazing Platter plentiful and delicious and the Marron spring rolls a highlight. The wine was a 2018 Castelli Sum Sauvignon Blanc which was arguably the best we've had. The service was outstanding, with the couple running it so friendly and engaging. Couldn't fault the whole experience. Thank you so much for reviewing our property. We are thrilled that you have enjoyed the restaurant, as we work hard to make sure all of our guests get a great experience of this amazing place in the world...hope to see you back again one day. We will pass this on to the Wine Maker and our Head Chef. Thanks again.

A group of eight men of senior age met over lunch in the sunny and light restaurant overlooking the 807 vineyard and views beyond, with a group of ladies just around the corner. From the chatter and laughter, it was obvious that everyone was having a very enjoyable couple of hours. The owner looked after us very well, as always, and we were given ample time to select from the short and interesting menu, and order our wines. The dishes are very attractively presented, and all arrived together, and the wines, all from their 807 winery are, as ever, very good indeed. Their Sauvignon Blanc is crisp and refreshing, and their Pinot Noir excellent. I normally drink the Shiraz, however! We Denmark residents are fortunate to have this high quality restaurant only a few minutes drive from the town centre.

Boston Brewing Co. & Willoughby Park are located on the same site 3km out of Denmark WA. Nestled amongst our pinot vineyard is our brewery and 500 capacity venue. With an extensive kidâs playground in our large beer garden, indoor wood fire and relaxed at
The pizzas here are amazing, some of the best we've had (and we've been round all the Margaret river breweries). There is a large selection of beer. There is a large outdoor area with benches that you can take dogs onto and there are water bowls for them. We ordered pizza and a side of chips but the chips came after we'd almost finished eating the pizza. It would be nice if a cider was available, even if it was bottled. Most other breweries have one on tap or bottled available for those people who don't drink beer. We will definitely return. Hi mgh_87,I am glad to hear you enjoyed your experience overall. Apologies the chips came out so late. I know it seems silly when they are just chips and you would think they would be faster than the pizza but that is why we let guests know that pizza's come out on their own timeline as they are all hand rolled and cooked to order. If there isn't many pizza orders but a lot of main meals then they will come out quicker as dockers are cooked in time order. Being a brewery and winery we only sell what we make and we do not make a cider. We do make a delicious Tingeltop ginger beer though and have a range of wines from a sweet late harvest Riesling to a dry Sparkling wine or dry Riesling to try to accommodate all our guests. I am glad to hear you will be returning and hope you enjoy some of our other products on your next visit.

Visited here for lunch on Saturday and shared the Madison platter between two of us.Could not fault a thing on the platter, it was absolutely delicious! On the platter was a whole assortment of food such as vegetable frittata, cacciatore, smoked ham, mustard, smoked chicken, beetroot and Shiraz relish, antipasto, a wedge of Brie, wedge of cheddar, pears, figs, pickled vegetables, some jellies and was served with a bowl of bread. It was plenty of food for the two of us.The restaurant has plenty of seating with tables inside, tables set on a deck overlooking the lake, tables in the garden among the flowers and plants and tables on the grass by the lake close to the vineyard. Beautiful scenery and great food. Definitely worth a visit!Hi ChunLeeLeeThank you for visiting us. Absolutely delighted that you enjoyed. Hope you can visit again.

It's been a full circle for Silas and Angela, who in 2007, along with their children, Marley and Levi (Lumeah was born in 2008), packed up their life in Victoria and headed to Denmark where Silas had been offered the position as head chef at Forest Hill V
It was so nice to spend a lazy afternoon at this splendid restaurant. The waitstaff are courteous and efficient. The meals were delicious, however they were not perfect. My main, the eye fillet did not have the same ingredients as others, it was missing the sweet potato crisps. My wife had the duck and was missing the dill garnish. I had Martin as the entree and it was perfectly cooked. St the table next to us they had Martin, but without the lemon water to rinse your fingers. The dirty chai my wife ordered was not good and was replaced by a flat white. We will be back as it is an amazing place with amazing food.
